A friend who knows more of these things than I (mcluskyism) told me that at Botcon in 2009 the Cullen signing was 125 people per day (Sat and Sun), Cullen was nearly 70 then and is pushing 80 now, so he guesses 200 tickets will be available in total.

I've never felt much of a pull to get anything signed, to be honest. I did line up for Maighread Scott the year before last because I wanted to say how much I'd enjoyed TAAO, but that was about it. Hearing the panel chat is the real draw as far as I'm concerned (Simon Furman has done it so often that he basically ran the IDW panel he was on last year, and the host just sat back and let them banter).

The panel chats are one of my favourite parts of a convention! That said, I’ve got a fair bit of Simon & Geoff signery (and other Marvel UK artists), a Bob Budianksky collection signed by himself, also the namescrawlings of Nick Roche, James Roberts and Jack Lawrence...figure that’ll do it. For now anyway. The main point was to meet them though. :)  Not sure I need Mr Cullen’s signature; would be very interested to hear him speak as long as the audience doesn’t ask him pointless trivia questions about things he won’t have bothered to remember, would be much better to get him talking about his experiences. :) :D

Those sets were the two sets of combiner vehicles I had. I really loved the Battle Squad. Probably my favourite Micromasters. Was so annoyed when I lost Vanquish and Fireshot. I really hope we get the rest of the team updated but I doubt I’ll be that lucky.

I'm like that for bw cast. Just so i can let them know how much the show means to me. Venus Terzo was very flattered to hear it. I would have loved to have got my windblade tpb signed by Scott, and let her know she is the only one who seems to write windblade in a way i like, and even picked up the windblade figure purely on the strength of her writing, but my wife's visa came through and i was getting her settled that year and had to skip. I did ask a friend to take the book to get signed, and Scott did a funny little extra when he told her i couldn't make it in person.

Kudos to tfn for getting Cullen, but that panel is gonna be rammed. And he'll get mobbed completely in the bar.

Meanwhile, I'm just sat here waiting for the new 55" tv to arrive. Black friday splurging. Quite the upgrade from this old 32", and argos do same day delivery up to 10pm. Who'd a thunk it?

I know I managed to come back from the bar this year with a round of drinks AND a voice-actor in tow; I can’t see me managing that in 2020 somehow :p

Me and the boy ended up playing laser quest instead of bowling, and you got to pick a character name. Of course I went for the obvious....

Turns out I had ‘the touch’ as well!! Got back home about an hour ago and see that Cullen is at TFN!! Mrs BB has said I can have a leader ticket in feb as my Christmas present so that will do for me! Question is do I now buy an MP44 for signature??

If I had to pick a year to start going to TFN, this is a mighty tempting one...

Can confirm The Dragon Prince still slaps, despite the showrunner apparently being a terrible person. *Sigh*
Never felt so ambivalent about wanting a season 4 of a great show before!

Well, now, Cullen?! Talk about a huge get! Wowzers!

I've never ever seen the episode. But I gather these two are buds?

Ok, drunk robot question: would you count Inferno as a Wrecker? He was working with them in the UK comics as an advance recon type, but was he actually one?

    (And happy birthday, @barry!)

Nope! Too goody two-pumps. Autobot cars can’t be Wreckers; the Mothers of America would not approve. :) :p :D

The Cyberverse Alpha Trion seems to have been skipped over entirely for UK release - unless anyone has seen it anywhere - it may be a bit of a brick but it's also perhaps the most like Alpha Trion in terms of appearance of any official toy which is some reason perhaps to get it.

Oh and i've been watching Cyberverse a couple of episodes at a time at the weekend and much to my shock it doesn't suck. Considering the short size of the episodes I was expecting it to be very slight fair - but it's actually packed full of "Lore" & Nods and winks to prior Transformers content. It can be a tad annoying or childish sometimes - but that is mostly Bumblebee and one tends to give him a pass for that.

I was somewhat amused that the Black Wheeljack Duplicate that caused the rust plague seemed to match the deco of the Black repaint Toyworld made - I wonder if they did that on purpose or if that was a happy accident.

I expected Vince at TFN this year, but Cullen is good and explains the price rise!

Aren't we due Ultra Class Prowl too? I haven't seen much of anything around the next Ultra Class figs for the UK. (they're the only ones I buy)
