I love the Micromasters and Skystalker is one of the best. His shuttle base is brilliant.

Aw thanks man, I will, I mean, I still remember liking the concept behind it so surely years later now it's gonna be a goo... WHY CAN'T I MAKE SENSE OF THE NARRATIVE WHAT IS GOING ON I CAN'T TELL MY EYES MY GODDAMN EYES.

    See ? That went well.

Oh so much yes mate ! Skytalker and his jets/base were my second to last Transformers I had when I was a kid/pre-teen and I played the hell out of it, milked them until none enjoyement can be found anywehere, seriously.

Re-buying him last year felt like the best thing ever.

Always wanted that one as a kid. Loved the shuttle mode so much. It blew my mind when it was the Decepticon base in Victory.

I was SO happy to be able to get that version of Ratbat a few months back. I REEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAALLY hope that when Ocular Max get around to giving us a big ol' flappy Ratbat they do a convention special in this colourway :D

Worrying about not being able to get Pandinus is the main reason why I've been so concerned about the thought of Maketoys going under lately.

Plus a competent Decepticon leader. He was just over powered by Victory Sabre who was godly by that point.

I loved Victory when I discovered it in 2001. So many holy grail figures in that series.

I'd struggle to do this, as I tend not to buy multiple versions of characters.

Yeah, I too love the C-list characters more than A-list. It's worth serious thought, but I need to be selective as most of my collection is that sort of character.

One thing I will do when Smokescreen arrives (still no dispatch notice from Kapow) is a roundup of the three Datsun boys to mirror the Snowflake Seekers, but obviously that's quite a small pool so I'd need to pad it out with some friends. Perhaps just an excuse to get Jazz in there.

Don't forget the inflatable balloon creatures that seem to have replaced all the robot characters. With teeeeeeeny tiny heads.

Back in the days of "hey there's internet now yeah let's check out all the stuff that I've missed ! There's a Beast Wars 2 ? Neat. What's this ZSnes emulator thing ? Ha ! Piccolo and a cucumber song, funny. Wait is that free porn ?" Victory was indeed a surprising breeze, even style wise, it looked great, and yeah loveable (and stylish) characters. The super sentai turansuforumation sequence can get quite repetitive but who cares ? Biiiiiiictoryyyyyyyy ♪

I've got diabete just by reading issue #1, they so much look like those too fluffy and colorful candies you damn know you'll regret eating just by looking at them.
    Worst halloween prank.

"Hello ? Is there anyone here ? Did the scalescrewing gun work ? I can't see shit my head is far too behind my chest. Predaking, is that you ? My knee smells like bull. Hello ?"

Speaking of TF@theMoon, their Facebook page just posted a link to this (for me, anyway) rather evocative video featuring a ridiculously young-looking Simon Furman...

With Scorponok its all about do you need him to have the base mode?

If you do he has to be massive.
If not, then he can be leader sized.

It's why having Pandinus and IF Scorponok both work for me at that scale - its like two different representations of the same character.

I try not to let scale issues bother me, but I think its why most of the new 3rd party combiners leave me cold. The figures look fantastic, but my head can't get around combiner limbs being bigger than MP carbots. I think that's also why I am not too precious about selling my Fanstoys/Maketoys headmasters/targetmasters - they figures are fantastic, but just too big, especially in vehicle mode.

Yeah, I type all that about scale not bothering me, just to prove it actually does. But I guess that's to my own internal scale - not the holy chart!

Loving how Countdown's expression suggests that while he might be thoroughly fed up of this shit, he's more than equipped to deal with it.

    Zetar arrives today, hopefully. Excellence.

Nice. I've been so distracted with omega I keep overlooking how nice countdown is.

I finally got a skystalker base at the start of the year. So awesome.

Pandinus came out a few years ago, I wouldn't have expected maketoys to still be manufacturing them?

    Forced perspective innit? Or...

You made it past that discovery?

Yeah scale in your collection should always be what you personally feel looks right. Even if it’s multiple sizes of the one character depending on the situation.

I do love the Maketoys Headmasters but I was shocked when I saw how big they actually were. I’ll probably keep them but they would be separate from my MP car bots. The cars should be all roughly the same size in my mind too. I find it weird the stunticons are so massive.
