Got refraktor and six gun from those wonders at Kapow and I do think siege is my favourite line for quite a while. Just some great designs and features and the earth wave looks pretty top too. I decided against omega in the end due to space and liking the wei jiang one so much but I'm really hoping on a spectacular scorponok!

So, my transformers purchases this month have been Siege Impactor and Cyberverse Scraplet, whom I just got today. These are the first official figures I've got in a while. Impactor is fantastic, and now I'm wanting a weaponizer to fill all those 5mil ports on him. I'm thinking Brunt :)

Scraplet is pretty cool, I think he's going to face off against Gnaw in some eating contests.

Welcome back @motorthing ,hope you're feeling back to your normal self ASAP.

Just noticed a pre-order on AE for a reissue of MP Sunstreaker.

Does this mean a MP reveal is on the cards?

Yup. Literally had a blast from the past Sunday morning today where I got up and had breakfast while watching cartoons. Not too shabby!

Remains to be seen. Sunstreaker is apparently May 2020. So that leaves April 2020 open. That is only IF Takara are continuing on this 1 MP release a month, either they are going to continue this or there is going to be a big break because 8 MP releases in 8 months is some feat

Well, technically the G1 toy is like it is because it's the nearest the limited engineering of 1986 could get to an early alternate character model by Ol' Floro, who I'd say is the actual reason the car looks like it does! Luckily it's one of his better attempts, or it is when it's this well executed! :p
Sorry, mate, I know NI's still a part of the UK but there's no clue to that in your profile, otherwise I could've factored that in.

Right, that was a full weekend. Too full for this weary old man. Three days of hosting my girlfriend's mum with a controversial visit from her sister. So controversial t6hat it led to a shouting match at 11pm on Saturday night before I escorted her sister to her hotel. And now, wearily, it's straight back into work. Huzzah!

Still, had a laugh in Hebden Bridge, directly after spotting yer man @Seeaich and had fun in the Science and Media museum in Bradford. Her Mum, who grew up in the 70's, was particularly thrilled to see the Smash robots and Captain Scralet. I also saw this...

Still loving this figure. The Optimus hasn’t had half as much play/ can’t emote half as well IMHO.

Angling his head so his eyes are hidden in shadow is just something I never thought a figure capable of! D0D19465-7B64-476B-994E-5BC9D6420BD6.jpeg 538D3A95-BBEE-4ECA-BA19-C1B0E66DD810.jpeg CAAB3746-2FF1-4B2D-8FB5-EC46814395E9.jpeg

Given the Battlemasters have branched out into swords and shields and the like, I'd be down for Boraxock being a sturdy pair of shoes :p

Loving the paint work on Trypticon dude.

Glad to hear it dude! Hope the wee nipper doesn't deprive you and your partner of too much sleep!

I didn't get my hands on G1 Springer til adulthood, and while I can admit he was the second worst of the original triplechangers (Brickside will forever be the worst) I still enjoyed him.

Having had some time now, I definitely think Gen30 Springer remains the superior Green Guy. Siege Springer is great though.

Hope you are felling better dude and continue on the road to recovery! You've been missed :)

Sunday afternoon for me was my baby snoring loudly while sleeping on my lap while I one handily played ze Xbox. I've had worse Sundays! Give Stranger Things a go dude, you'll know after one episode if you want to keep watching.

    I'd give it another 6 months :p

Damn Rotordude, stop making me want to buy more Brunts!

Got to love the In-Law drama :S

I'm just eyeballing it here, but it looks like Apeface might be about Siege Ironhide-ish in terms of height (given that Crosshairs is squatting a bit)?

I'm very alright with him being a shorter voyager.

Also painfully aware now that I'll be ordering Astrotrain afterall.

    Right!
I can live with this. I'm definitely interested to see how Apeface scales against the TR versions of the '87 Headmasters.

Meant to say, @motorthing glad to see you back, even if it's only a fleeting check in. Hope the recuperation is going as well and swiftly as it can be. Take it easy, big yin!

and @Brooticus lovely news. Belated congratulations man!

I think that's a fair assessment. We all get too defensive criticising things we like, but I think it's healthy to like a few things despite their rubbishness. Broadside is a stone cold mess of a toy, but is kinda charming despite that. Or maybe because of it.

My go to example of beloved tat is a game called Dark Void. Long story short, it's every type of bobbins, but I love it nonetheless.
