@DaftRaider So sorry to hear about your cat. Never easy saying goodbye to a furry friend. Hope you are doing alright dude.

@nice sideburns Good luck with the new job dude!

Great minds think alike, I'd suggested that the other day. It would be pretty cool. As G1 (and 1.5) trailers go, Thunderclash definitely ranks highly on account of the play-ability.

Prime had a box that opened and had a turret and roller. Thunderclash's box stood up to become a fricking dayglo murder machine with missile flinging action.

Ahhh that is nice. Thanks for sharing the misery recon!

Bad craic. Hope you get sorted.

    :lolol

Great Kup & Blur write ups dude.

    Hard agree.

You could try http://www.unclebillyshop.com - They might have some of the KO versions in stock?

    Amazing.

    Also filthy double post, but...
I was all on the fence about getting Kup when he came out, but even to someone whose only exposure to G1 as a kid was the movie, he hit just enough memory for me to chuck him in, and I'm so glad he did. He poses well, his Alt-Mode is one of the best in TR (in my humbly wrong opinion), and that transformation is gold. He's one to keep for life.

When he isn't leading the wreckers into battle, Springer likes to fill his time by aggressively testing claims there isn't enough room to swing a cat in many indoor settings.

I don't know if animal abuse really counts as being something better to do tonight Springer old bean...

My Iron Factory light blue Seeker arrived this morning and is as expected, not particularly exciting due to already owning the mould a gazillion times but the colours are nice and some more swappable hands are always welcome.

    Decepticon Air Force Review

Megatron "Let's see, we've got that bastard Starscream, keep an eye on him Ravage"

Ravage "As you wish Lord Megatron"

Megatron "Then there's Skywarp, who thinks I don't know he's always teleporting into the races to cheer Dragstrip, and Thundercracker who's...one of the blue ones."

Ravage "Any action to be taken?"

Megatron "A mild threat of the Justice Division to Skywarp should do the trick. Moving on, we have Ramjet and his chums with the pointy heads"

Ravage "That'd be Coneheads Lord Megatron"

Megatron "Whatever, give them a commendation for doing something different with their appearance. Now who else do we have....Slipstream's doing a fine job...can't risk being investigated by my own Justice Division for not giving her a chance, put her in charge of....the red one and the lighter blue one...they're all looking the same at this point."

    Ravage "What about the Rainmakers?"

    Megatron "Who?"

Ravage "That'd be Sunstorm, Acid Storm and...….and the purple one"

Megatron "For the love of Primus! even my own spy doesn't know some of these names , send them on a mission codenamed "Operation Certain Death" so we don't have to remember them again"

Ravage "It will be done Lord Megatron"

I mean, TR has a strong field of good alt modes and transformations, so for Kup to stand out is an achievement. We all expected Hot Rod and the like to be our favourites, and then along comes frigging Triggerhappy and Topspin and blows us away out of nowhere.

Mine's delayed until tomorrow, due to the vagaries of University internal mail distribution.

    Dancer!

Continuing my affectionate (and thoroughly self indulgent) look back at Prime Wars, I'd be remiss not to make a space for good ol' Superion.
I'd dabled in Generations stuff, but I only went full throttle when I saw Combiner Wars wave 1 in Jenners in Edinburgh. I loved the 'Special Teams' when I was a kid, and here they were, in all their modern glory. Several years on, and I've not looked back. Superion still feels like the passion piece of the line. Sure, tere've been refinements with the Takara and PotP combiners, but I still feel like Superion wrote the book, and should get due respect.

It has to be said, whatever mojo Kapow has worked out with Hasbro UK seems to be working! They had Impactor and Mirage listed as October, and today on the last day of September my Impactor has just been delivered. :D  Not to mention getting that fan 3-pack out before fricking Amazon.

    Still loving Decepticon Impactor

    Harpoon Launch in progress...

I'm genuinely a little nervous about my Kapow order, mixed in with Smokescreen as it is. I really don't want all the Impactors at Kapow to be gone by the time Smokescreen is out, and then go to Smyths to find the Impactors are all gone there too.

    First world problems, yes.

Oh dayum, that's a great find!

Lol. I can totally see that being the conversation between those two.

    Helluva great shot!

Decided to sell my Carnifex. Part trade, part money. So that's TR Trypticon fully covered, as well as a misb POTP Elita and Papa Toys Reflector coming. And decided to nab a mft Gears for a tenner, since I handled one the other day and it looks great, and the maketoys gears, while a great figure, isn't really 'gears-y' enough on my shelf. MT Gears can become a new character somewhere. And to be good, the rest can go into savings. Because Adulting is so much fun. :p

Smyths in the West Midlands also have him, so I’d say praise to Hasbro UK this time lol.

Which series? I keep seeing season 1 in charity shops cheap but I was only really bothered from when ol'Worfy turned up,
must see the 'film' one again (Way of the warrior?), I think I only have it on Laserdisc.
    "Klingons do not forgeeeeeeeev….or forgeeeeeet"!

Expecting a delivery of huge pectoral muscles perhaps?

I went back to Smyths after leaving empty handed Saturday, as I had a plan....
Bought 3 Refractors for 40 quid, MP Reflector stand in sorted for 40 quid, nice!

    Laters.

Lovely shot. I know what you mean about the allure of CW Superion. I blame him (more specifically Silverbolt) for beginning the purge of 3rd party figures from my collection.

    Thanks folks! :)

Still loving Autobot Megs too. Honestly not bothered at all about the lack of alt mode. He's going on the LL shelf.

Can someone recommend a good website for TF reviews?
    - DVandom's reviews are becoming rarer and rarer
    - I can't stand BWTF's honey-cheesy-high glucose style
    - TFarchive is mostly dead
    - Phil's TF reviews made a fake comeback but seems dead
    - toybox soapbox does not update much
    - Cliffbee.com is dead
    - and I really can't' stand videos

    Any recommendation?

Nice! Siege Barricade is a thieving bastid though! Taking Prime's cannon!

TLK Barricade continues to be all kinds of lovely doesn't he?

Won't lie bud, no dexterity needed, I just used airbrush paint (it's thinned out and applied it roughly over then wiped off the excess with my finger (would have used kitchen roll but couldn't be bothered heading to the kitchen)

This was the state at bed time last night
