I hear as long as the banana's blue, that's alright.

I'm on the NiteWotch because sleep is for people with better adjusted schedules than me, so time to write up a few words on a Doctor Who thing, then sleep. Sleep is good. Wish I got more of it.

While I would bet real money that none of these rumours about Hasbro suing KO companies come to anything, Infinite Transformation is a subset of Black Mamba so if BMB goes so does IT.

Either way quite surprising news if true, many thought the day would never come.

Thanks Graeme - I had no idea that IT was a sub of BMB, every day is a school day! That is a shame too if this actually happens.

Google says that these are Grotesque (top one) and Repugnus (lower one).

Got a nice condition G1 Rotorstorm in the post yesterday from a very cheap punt taken earlier this month. Flappy tail fin and no weapons/rotors, but still a vibrant, impressive lad all the same. He'll go into my 'G1 bits with some things missing/not quite perfect' handful in the Detolf.

And of course they'd most likely issue a denial until they had to acknowledge it to boot.
As to surprise, well, if the sue is true then as Paul @SirToys has theorised having a massive display at a Chinese International Toy Fair might have been a baller move too far. Chipping away at the fringes of a corporations market might get a certain level of passing but to publicly teabag the IP holders while you're at it isn't the smartest follow through.

Nice one. Hopefully the other UK retailers will get him soon. Once all the lads are together, Then seekergeddon can commence!

Not surprised the rainmakers sold so quickly. Any idea what they where priced like?

Yeah, that'd do it. It also helps that Trump has publicly called out China for copyright infringement so I guess Hasbro might be feeling more confident they have the government on their side. And then there's Lego having smashed a high profile KO outfit recently, so I guess this is definitely the time.

Hope the more reputable 3P companies can keep their noses clean though. It's almost a shame that WJ were in the process of moving into non-KO products, but apparently haven't moved fast enough.

Whilst I have my doubts about the former ( and they did petition him against tariffing) the latter seems bang on, LEGO's successful crackdown will have most definitely been seen and I'd be surprised if a LOT of copious notes weren't taken by a number of large IP holders!

Top left one I don't recognise but very much reminds me of Constructicons, but the other three are the Monsterbots. Top right is Grotusque, bottom left is Repugnus and bottom right is Doublecross.

    All the best

Looking good! The MMC Feralcons remain one of my absolute favourite 3P products - and that's a great thing because a fair amount of the 3P stuff I owned, I'd happily never interact with again.

Spent most of yesterday programming drum track and didn't see the news until nearly 9pm. Juts about finished screaming and punching things.

    BOX SAYS WHAT?!

    Entry 2: G1 Starscream.

Box photography shows pointed wing tips (Diaclone) and a striped sticker in the cockpit (also Diaclone), not to mention a very pointy and non-rubber nose (you guessed - Diaclone). Notice also the thick, hand cut Decep label on robot wing.

Was doing some tidying around the house, rediscovered TR Sentinel Prime, and how wonderfully orange he is. Really brightened up a very grey day!

A certain device of French innovation is often bandied about in a joking fashion on the Twitters but one can't help but feel certain blockheads having their head placed upon a block to listen to a final whistle is a cold, sweaty fear certain folks are sorely lacking.

    Tidy 'Warp snap though!

I think getting the Chinese government on-side all depends on having a sales presence within China, and I don't know how much Hasbro product actually gets sold there. It's an easy market for KO companies to do business if the company they're ripping off doesn't actually do business within that market. If you can't point to actual Hasbro or Lego products on shelves being undercut by KOs, it can be argued that no harm is being done. Does Hasbro Asia actually operate in much of China outside of Hong Kong?

Kinda wish I'd not held off on Sentinel, as it's not as if there's going to be another toy of him any time soon. Like many others, I just waited around for Astrotrain and that was that. Oh well.
