I went past the Games Workshop store the other day only to see the whole large sign in total black with boldly written "WARHAMMER" in white.
Not so much as a by-your-leave! "You're Warhammer, mate." o_O

I've been sorting through my Detolfs, moving my CHUG displays around, trying to separate shelves into kinda seasons/years. I'm still white a few characters short of a full screened roster but I'm enjoying the results of the separation but it means I defo need that 4th Detolf now!:D
Heck, when the PotP Dinobots arrive they'll need at least half a shelf just to themselves and I don't think those Decepticreeps are gonna enjoy sharing a shelf?:p

    Congrats @Lothar Hex

Well that Unicron is a lot cleaner than Haslabs, no denying.

Also, got to say having seen @nice sideburns TE Prime at TFN, it’s much cleaner than MP44. Only thing MP44 has going for it is the accessories for me.

Where do I start a petition to make @incapable hulk's dream of TR Ratchet with Charlie Fairhead Titan Master real?
(Yes, my day's going well reading toy reviews, why do you ask?)

Space allowing, a Springer for your CHUG and one for your Wreckers shelf? All my wrecking crew are in storage for the moment awaiting a 4th Detolf. It may be a long wait.:p

After all my rearranging it completely slipped my mind about Computron! He's still in a box in storage! COMPUTRON COMBINE!:D

    Congrats!
I started out using a small-bladed craft knife, graduated to a cheapy Bodycare pair of eyebrow tweezers, and have currently upgraded to another cheapy Bodycare set but with pointed pincer tips. If I am tweezer-stickering I now mostly use the pointed pair with a disposable wooden cocktail stick for pinpoint pressure application and flattening in finicky areas too big for pudgy finger pressing.

Thanks for all the well wishes peeps. Wonder if anyone can help me though.

Got Siege Springer today and loving him, but I'm finding difficulty getting him flat in car mode, he seems to be balancing on his crotch. I've followed the instructions and checked some videos and can't see what I'm doing wrong. Pic below

Am I right in thinking that mould is a bitch to line up at the best of times? You might not be doing anything wrong at all!

Chopper mode would agree with you. Took me an age to get it lined up and it feels like a coiled spring...WAITAMINIT.

    Looks lush though.

I swapped my Cyclonus for the battle in space one mainly for hurricane upgrade from Tailgate. Prefer it even without the upgrade tbh. The CW one just felt like a big blob of purple plastic.

In other news I've just gone to give my old house a final once over and collect post only to find that the letting agent/landlord has let someone go in and decorate without my knowledge. Basically to paint over the mould we've been complaining about for years before they relet it to the next victim. So pissed off but know that complaining will get me nowhere but more stressed.

Think they are called flange head m5s probably

Cheers! They seem to be the closest, now to try find somewhere that has 'em in stock local before taking an un-properly guesstimated punt online!
Going back to this I just so happened to pass a 4-pack of tweezers in Poundland while screw-scouting which included both pointy and not-pointy-tipped in the set PLUS a pointy-tipped pair with 35-40° angled bend, and I'd have snagged myself a set if the only "quid" I had on me was the bloody Euro I'd only recently realised I'd been mis-changed with. That angled grip could be handy in some awkward stickering situations!

That was a fun read (and extremely accurate as well). Have you watched Lindsey Ellis's series on Transformers and film theory? It also takes the attitude that Mikaela was a very different character in the script to how Bay's leering porn camerawork depicted her.

But I'm particularly in agreement about the film score, and especially the notion of the Autobot and Decepticon themes. (brace yourself folks, I'm about to go full music theory nerd here - yes, I have that too, on top of latent jet nerd, obvious transformer nerd, former-professional history nerd and out-of-date Star Wars nerd)

There's a lot of coding wrapped up in the music which matches up neatly to that of the design of the Autobots and Decepticons. The Autobot theme is very straightforward, traditional music. It uses standard a orchestral sound palette that everyone in the audience is familiar with. It's written in common time (4/4, or four beats to the bar). It uses a ludicrously common four-chord harmonic progression (Dm, F, C, Gm). It's built to be comfortable, listenable, familiar, just like the Autobot designs, overly-busy as they are, are familiar humanoid proportions.

The Decepticon theme on the other hand is cold, alien and unfamiliar, just like the way their bodies are designed. It's in 3/4 time, but the emphasis is on the second beat rather than the first. The sound palette uses synths and sound effects as percussion, and most obvious of all, the melody (what there is of it) is performed by a choir singing in an alien language (although it might actually just be an earth language we don't recognise - a trick which movie composers pull all the time). To top it off, the bass singers have a heavily distorted quality and are singing a droning single note, something that popular western musical traditions generally eschew.

Basically the music teaches us that the Autobots are familiar, friendly, normal giant robots while the Decepticons are strange, foreign and alien giant robots. I'd love to see a mix of the movie with the themes reversed, so when the Autobots are all landing the Decepticon theme is playing, and when Frenzy is sneaking around in Air Force One the Autobot theme is playing. It wouldn't reverse the coding completely - Frenzy is still designed as an ugly weirdo while Bumblebee has the Giant Eyes Of Empathy, but it'd be a cool change nonetheless.
