Fucking outrageous. In the best way. Love love love what you've done there.
Here’s muh TFN haul. Not as many robits as there would have been had I not lost my bloody card but I’m still chuffed with what I did get, apart from the Con Crud that I have picked up GODDAMMIT. BLURRGHH.
Dude.. you got Double Evil. Possibly the best 3P toy that ever did toy. Now have a Lemsip and steam your head. That's a conquering champions haul.
Thanks man, had to get some time in with him before Jetfire attempted to dominate the evening.
Springer's holding his own though up against that beauty. Amazing times.
'We've come here to kick ass and research the geometry of fractals...
..and we're all out of fractals.'
Yeah, meant to see Overlord in all his evil glory, he looks tremendous in pics I've seen
Bro. Seeeeeeeeeriously bro. Got him for £185. How the heck could I say no to that??
Hairy hand for scale. Everything about him is maximum chomk and his transformations are totally non-faff. Only issue I’ve had is attaching and detaching the nose from the jet, everything else is an absolute joy.
I mean, come on, look at that. Just drink it in.
Fans Hobby can absolutely do no wrong.
Chuffed to get Generation Toy Prime from the same seller, too, as I was worried I’d missed the original run and don’t much like the brighter colours on the newer one. Unlike Ultra Maxmas I have managed to transform him AND enjoy doing several times, with only one glance at the instructions to work out his arms. He’s a beefy dadbot and his truck mode has to be absolutely the best Prime truck mode that I have ever seen as far as holding together and minimalising kibble - particularly on the truck bed.
Oh, and I forgot his eyes light up until I got home, so that was a pleasant treat!
Currently up in the air about Springer. I have the Platinum one already, so I'm weighing up between them.
Platinum Springer Pros:
Is the T30 mold
Sexy IDW stylings
Better car mode
I don't have to pay for him
Platinum Springer Cons:
Lime + Gold is pretty ugly compared to regular Green + Yellow.
Has issues holding together.
I already have Cloud Rodimus and I don't want to double up.
Too tall compared to OP and Megs.
Siege Springer Pros:
Scales properly with the rest of the figures
More 5mm ports
Effect part compatibility
Siege Springer Cons:
Is not the T30 mold
Boring Sunbow stylings
Weaker weapons overall
The more I see this guy the more I contemplate getting him, however I'd have to part with MMC Carnifax to do it and he's a tad more appropriate for my IDW collection. Still utterly tempting, that's why I've not looked at it too hard.
Had similar thoughts myself as I do love my T30 Springer. Ultimately it came down to T30 being an improvement on the design, rather than just doing a Floro Dery all over again. And Siege Springer can’t do the fencing pose.
As for scale, it only matters in alt mode (and barely ever then). Imaginary robots are as tall or short as they need to be.
All the best
Mysterio...with a ferret!
I have 2 packages due tomorrow,
Iron Factory Wheeljack from TFS Express
( I always get a nice buzz of anticipation for a new IF release and Wheeljack more than most as he's my favourite carbot. )
Marvel Legends Family Matters set ( Magneto, Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver ) from Comics & Cocktails
( I dithered on this set for a while as I wasn't overly impressed with Magneto but I really like Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver and think Magneto's OK with the 2nd headsculpt with the whited out eyes as it looks straight off a comic cover so I'll just use that head instead of the stoned looking one.)
I really like the Sky Lynx sketch, the Death's Head poster and that Overlord is a bit good too!
He's Beautiful. Yeah Carnifex looks amazing but this is so damn big!!!
That pyro and iron fist are cool
Maz, these are beyond beautiful. I love Overlord's colour pallette as it is, but you've brought it out so well. Gonna have to pick one and make it my desktop background.
Haha that's awesome, thank you so much!
All the best
Best of luck with the medication, hopefully it'll do the job without any serious side effects. As others have said there'll probably be a period where your body has to get used to it being in your system so don't worry if it's not an instant fix.
If you also find that there's some side effects that can be counter productive such as constant drowsiness get back to your GP and see if there's any alternatives.
I like to think that understanding of how to treat depression is better in 2019 than when I was first diagnosed in 1997 but there's probably still people in the system subscribing to the "dope 'em up as much as possible so they don't do anything serious" doctrine so it's something to be aware of.
