Yeah, this is what I'd assumed. I need to start planning what time I'll want to get there, to be honest. I rarely drive further than a work commute, and while Birmingham's hardly a great distance, I'm so unused to driving unfamiliar routes I reckon I'll need a bit of forethought.

Hope the Housework Achievement helps alleviate it some, @Skjalddis!

BTW Anyone who's sticking with stock Refraktor over the box set might want to swing by the Matrix Workshop...

@Seeaich It did! Also decided to get the Autobots out for a group shot. This is everything I have, other than repeats of the same character (because in this house, you can't have too many Grimlocks, Bees, Rods or Magnususeses!)

Autobots assemble! Wait, that's not right...

Nope. I've had to fight hard enough for the ESA, there's no way I'd get PIP. It's all good long-term though, we're gonna be much better off even on my other half's income, and my health has improved considerably in the past month or two because I haven't been constantly stressed out by fighting with the DWP. This means that I've been able to start writing again and I'm putting feelers out for freelance work. Funny how the biggest barrier to me supporting myself again has been the DWP, isn't it?

Solidarity. Reassessment this week for me. Definately helped me get back into the fandom when Roberts made his ultimate villains people who categorise function, lol.

    SHAMELESS SHILLING

Righty, a while ago I made (KOed) a poster which looks really swish, and said that I would make it available at TFN. I also made a few of 3D posters which, whcn you see them, are absolutely amazballs.

Anyway, with TFN only 2 weeks away, I better get on taking monies and orders and printing them out yes? So, if you made an order expect a message from me soon chasing up monies! The things are...

A4 Cutout and build your own Hubcrap (repaint of the 2019 Calendar Shitbot). Will ONLY be available at TFN 2019! £2.

Good luck with the reassessment. Roberts' satire is scathing, but it seems to fly over a lot of people's heads. Especially when it's very UK-centric, like the whole Ofsted-VII bit.

IMG_20190803_151009.jpg finally got this big bastard out of the box. Amazing figure, although I need to get a screwdriver to switch the head plate around as it wouldn't flip for Transformation.

Anything Siege in there? Looking for battlemasters and SkyTread. Just wondering if it's worth the trip from Brighton.

No, nothing current, the most up to date toy they had was a TLK megatron. I didn’t realize you were Brighton based, me too!

We need to sort a Brighton meet up! You going to tfnation?

I was going to head to Crawley for smyths/entertainer/toy barnhaus but I am after a siege starscream and when I checked online it said they were out of stock :(

Feeling much better after being productive and then playing with my toys. Still grumpy about not being able to go to TFN, especially seeing all the cool stuff people are making for it. I'd love to be able to hang out with TF folks in person. Oh well, maybe next year.

I'm not planning to. Not sure I could trust myself with all those goodies! It does frustrate me though that there is nowhere nearby to pick up anything decent. Meetup could be good, anyone else from this neck of the woods?

I just watched a transformation video for Unique Toys Challenger and that thing is absolutely nuts! Clearly some actual witchcraft going on there.

PNG image 31.png Anyone attending TFN!!

Transformers artist Andrew Griffith has been working on an enormous artwork and will be bringing it to TFN. He’ll be offering A0 size prints for £40 I think. Check his Twitter @glovestudios

You can email him glovestudios@gmail.com to reserve a print.

    The actual art work is 88” x 68”! o_O
