So Hightower and Long Haul arrived yesterday. I had about 30mins last night to have fiddle with them. These SS Constructicons continue to impress.

That shade of green on Long Haul is quite deep in person. He's a chunky fella. Feels like if you tossed him at someone's head; they'd no longer have a head.



Hightower looks like the result if a giraffe fucked some construction equipment in a puddle of toxic waste, while listening to the soundtrack of In the Mouth of Madness. Which is my convoluted way of saying I like him. and his widdle arms.

Since seeing this lad in Forbidden Planet I've been thinking about him a lot. He's definitely my jam aesthetically.

 

Gundam Wing being shown on Toonami on CNX was my first proper experience of Gundam and I really got into the whole Power Rangers with politics vibe until I missed a middle run of episodes and had literally no clue WT Actual F was going on by that point. Might have to give it another go after Outlaw Star actually.

 

He is very pretty. I love the Knightverse aesthetic; very detailed but still maintaining a clean silhouette.

As ever, the absence of ankle tilts will always be missed and the transformation is fiddly, but there's hardly any kibble, the backpack condenses down nicely and the joints are firm.

 

Not going to TF Nation, but having an IDW delivery day...
