The notion that Armada Megs qualifies as an Antique TF.

I do love this thing. Poseable? Hell no. But so much fun, so full of character and just looks gorgeous in both modes.

One of my favourite Armada moulds. I prefer the Galavatron colours, but it's just a few points of articulation short of greatness.

I shall keep that in mind. :)

So it came to my attention that it seems the Dark Lord left the house whilst forgetting his pasties*...
...and, well, I couldn't very well let his nibs swan about rudely flashing his nips, that's frankly a bit too much chaos being brought for my liking - so NEW PASTIES, PLEASE?
    DSC_0052.JPG
They're by no means an identical match but damn if they aren't in close (colour) range enough to count!
I guess I can add "Colour Alchemist" to my skill-set! :p

*=Think Burlesque, not Cornish, beef, etc.

    Catching up with TF-related news...

This is, I think, the first calendar month in 2019 where I have not purchased or waiting for a figure. If XTransbots decide to release their Dead End, it will count against that, but at least he's fully paid for already.

MP Blackarachnia...a no for me. Funnily enough, I can afford the figures but they appear too expensive for what they are. She looks spot on in robot mode but the spider mode is probably the most compromised mode out of all BW bots. After a very big and expensive return in MP Beast Megatron, I am not touching a new BW MP even if I want to unless it's gotten the all-free from reviewers/feedback threads. I sold my MP Cheetor so now only have MP Primal. Funny how the first BW MP that came out was one of the cheapest but also sturdiest.

Siege Starscream [and pretty much all his repaints] are calling out to me. Can't find any fault in the figure besides that silly chest tab. Newage legends bots also look tempting and at 20 a pop, not breaking the bank. Any feedback on these?

Will do a further clear out this weekend. Hopefully takara legends and some TR figures still sell...

I think I'll get him after pay day. I'm also looking at getting some of MFT's earlier releases such as Springer and the Cone heads. I've gone so far as to make space in my Legends+ Con display for Ramjet and co. I think I may have a problem :lol

You mean you were...The One! :p

Just seen that the latest Toyhax stickers have dropped so forgive me, lads, as I turn schill and pimp my wares:

    labels-for-siege-chromia (2).jpg

Sorry to taunt you Chromia-awaiters but she was the set wot I did, and I'm well chuffed with how she turned out (especially those vulcan/gatling cannons) with optional IDW-ish or Siege-ish flavouring to taste (Siege sergeant stripes or the full Special Ops plus rank sigil).
Please do consider upgrading your Fembot when you finally get her!

Maaaan that Toyworld Movie Op... I might have to find a way to fund that and sneak it past the missus...

I knew from the moment that that Nu-Movie Optimus 360-render appeared in Promos that it would be a dinner bell for the 3Ps.

Glad to know that the new IDW comic is picking up. Personally, I've been enjoying the leisurely pace and world building before inevitable tragedy, but I know it's been turning some folks off and I'd hate for the series to be jettisoned before it's had a fair chance.

I'm really enjoying Ricochet. He works quite well with Firedrive too. Here's hoping we get some other guys like this in the Select Series - G2 Dinobots would be particularly nice!

For £20 or whatever it cost they could have made it out of cardboard and I'd probably still be impressed.

I'm very happy with him, I'll do a pic comparison with the UT original in the next day or so.

Springer's great, even the car mode isn't bad which is usually the mode that suffers most!

It seems that TT are losing a fair few followers on the MP line with the way they're heading.

I don't collect TFs like I used to but the new price points was a major factor for me falling out of love with collecting.
