Playing around with Ricochet, I've found that I can really tell the difference between him and the Siege stuff. He feels chunkier. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it is noticable.

I passed on the Jazz version, simple because it didn't look as good as the RTS version. I feel vindicated in that, but as a different character the mould works perfectly. Definitely one worth getting if you like obscure(ish) Japanese G1 repaints.

It's also worth mentioning the packaging. It feels like the sort of thing you'd expect to get an exclusive in. It's a really nice package overall. Here's a picture of the box if you're interested.

    So, uuuuuuh...

Anyone interested in a complete Armada Unicron (boxless, batteries removed for damage prevention but possibly with instructions if I can locate 'em, I think I have an inkling regarding which box they could be in) for £60 squids posted?

John Wick was non-stop, man. I think the script must've been one page, because the rest is told in action.

The fight in the antique shop... incredible. You'll know it when you see it.

Me too. Not fully convinced he's tabbing together properly at the moment, but I'm glad I got this lad instead of Jazz.

Thanks man! I did enjoy writing that one. Sent me back to the days of reading those comcis first time round.

Oh, you're no fun anymore! Except when you think that. YOWZER!

Along with Ratbat (I guess) he was the one that didn't seem be fucking bonkers most of the time. Shockwave, Megatron, and Scorponok just seemed unhinged all the bloody time.

Cheers MT. Glad I'm not the only one that entertained thoughts of Soundwave being the leader in the toyline. We can only imagine that alternative universe where Soundwave was, well not Megatron...but Megatron.

Totally this! PotP Jazz was a sweet figurm, but an ill fitting Jazz! It's nice that there's a version where folk can just enjoy it for what it is (and cheers again MT)

I really need to give Smiley's People another watch. It's burned less clearly in my mind than Tinker...

I just read issue 5 of the new comic...

It's not quite the big bang that Ruckley was promising, but it does feel like it's all coming together quite nicely. I love the world building - this is a very different Cybertron.

Poor Rubble though. I'm intrigued to see if he's actually dead. It feels like there's been far too much investment in him to off him at this point.

I definitely think that one of the problems people have with this is the very decompressed nature of the comic, particularly compared to the very dense storytelling of MTMTE/LL in particular. It may perhaps be a break too far for some. I quite like it though - I'm a fan of understated storytelling in comics.

Prowl's pet pterasaur was quite nice too!

Spoiler free: I like it, I'm not sure it'll win over people who are on the fence about it though.

Siege wave 2 is still M.I.A., but at least Red Swoop and Ricochet arrived today.

Nice to have a proper coloured Swoop on my shelf at last, but he's an incredibly floppy chap - clearly been on the engex (and looking at some comments above, it sounds like his buddy Rick was with him on the pub crawl).

Had to take the day off work today after I completely lost it over my bosses stupidity on Tuesday - still too angry to go in - so I spent the day putting together the Kotobukiya Hexa Gear Scarecrow I bought at the weekend

Nice build, fun little mech thing with chainsaws hidden behind its calves that it can deploy like a raptor’s claws. Definitely going to buy more ASAP, probably the first one will be a pilot for this lad :D

Ooh - had never thought about that possibility of a ‘where they are now’ sandbaggers return. That could have been excellent. And I’d never clocked that Karla/Smiley switch!
Sorry to hear that - hope you can keep in contact whilst he’s away.

Just seen that TonTon fella has started pumping out factory fresh legitimately acquired Wave 3 Siege. Brunt looks amazing. He's had me worried, the colour change ups in particular but nah, this thing looks the absolute sexxxah.

Another partsformer heartwarmer. And I haven't even smeared my sweaty finger oils on a Sixgun yet. More of this stuff. It very much has an audience.
