I don't understand how anyone could gaze into the Uncanny Abyss that is Movie Sonic and say, "This is fine" instead of "Kill it with fire!"
It's like someone saw Rampage prove you can make a decent, enjoyably daft video game movie and decided to do their best to kill the genre!

After seeing the live action Sonic trailer, you may have several questions.

The one at the forefrot of my mind is why in the name of everything that exists did they use GANGSTER'S FUCKIN' PARADISE as the trailer music?

The next is, "when does the comet hit the planet?"

I dunno. It could end up being like Raul Julia inb Street Fighter at least? That was a fucking terrible movie, and you could tell he knew it. So he decided to CHEW THE SCENERY LIKE A STARVING MAN COMING OUT OF THE DESERT. Teeth marks in everything! And it is GLORIOUS.

 

Ok I must be getting old, that didnt look so bad to me, I wont see it but judging by the hatred coming off the internet I was expecting a blue turd on the screen...Sonic doesnt look that bad IMO considering its based on a 16bit video game, I mean, what did people expect?

 

Can't imagine how nice it would be to walk into a store and see shelves full of vintage packaging style G1 Transformers. I've seen the pics posted by American and Canadian collectors, but to see it in person would be stirring.

Meanwhile, whilst waiting for fist turret gun barrels to cure, I had a brainwave about what to do with spare Effectless Blowpipe - WFC:Siege gang-moulding-style coloured Pinpointer!

Though I gotta say all black limbs and that rather blood red dye results in a rather mid-90s'ish grimdark lookin' fella.
Now all I need is a THIRD Blowpipe to give him a proper twin to his working barrel.
A waste of a minifigure you say?
Not when I dye it's limbs black, transplant the removed short barrel onto his missing one, source a third grey gunbarrel to peg into the 5mm slot under the barrel segment and make him Siege gangmoulding colour rules Fracas!

This has the potential to be the most terrible movie ever, but in that way that it finds a cult audience. Because it looks horrifically bad. It's, ironically enough, Mario Bros. movie levels of what the fuckery.
