May I present the beautiful Kup, Recoill and Wheelie from the second last Transformers Collection Series.
I especially like how Wheelie was illustrated.
    Enjoy.

Just got the email from Nippon-Yassan, saying they're getting Brexit-ed. This anime girl is a big mood right now, not gonna lie.

.what happened to Wheelie's left leg? That doesn't look natural. Neither does his face to be honest.

That's a lovely, and enlightening, read Andy. I know very little about Brave, but that's piqued my interest. Cheers!

Will it surprise anyone that I absolutely fucking adored 'In the National Interest'? Furman Dinobots at their bickering sarcastic best. While fighting Megatron. Pure joy!
"Dinobot! You will pay for this indignity."

I've always found the gulf between Wheelie's animation design and actual toy amazing. I imagine the conversation went something like 'Ok guys, we've make him kid friendly and guven a cap because, you know, kids and their caps, right?' 'Yeah, but hear me out, what if we give the toy disproportionally long arms and, instead of a cap, a giant face flap that kind of hangs there, and generally turn him into the kind of monstrosiyy that gives kids nightmares?' '...whatever dudes. We're just going to do our thing while you keep smoking whatever the hell that is...'

Well, that explains the goofy alternate gun!
Kinda hybrid G1 with a dash of IDW MTMTE/LL IMO. I may actually be tempted to upgrade him too?

Bad craic. I'm sure more will follow soon :(

Amazing. The Brave line is something I knew existed but never really took under my notice, but they have some DAMN nice figures.

Also love your shots of Rolling Thunder Prime. I had the Xovergen version (pity me), but this one looks great.

Ha! I was reading that last night before bed! It's a great story no doubt.

A rhyming pervert. 'Touch my wizzer, and make me a jizzer'

    Cheers guys, that's very helpful!

That email from Nippon is really quite unsettling to me. Brexit gets talked about so much, but to see the effects of it in your own niche circles is something else entirely.

Luckily, the JP post option is where it's at! :D

Shit like this is why I'm SO GLAD Emgo has started doing Transformation vids. He goes back and forth between them. I think Baltmatrix usually shows both too. I know Optibotimus does if you can stand/mute him.

Tiny and Jason are the hardest ones to find, if I remember right I got Jason for £50-£60 a couple of years ago and Tiny last year for a bit more than that.

All the others were bought on original release in 2002 and prices seem to go from £30-£50 for Mark, Princess & Zoltar and Keyop can occasionally be got for around £20.

I just had a quick look on ebay and someone's selling a MOC set of 6 (same ones as mine) for £250.

    EDIT
I've just seen pics of Mech Fans Toys Swerve and as I suspected it's a pass as it's essentially G1 Swerve with an IDW inspired face and overall looks too blocky just like the larger ones from iGear and Badcube.

Given their penchant for oversizing other companies stuff I'm surprised they didn't go the other way and downsize Make Toys Swerve.

IDW Swerve toys need to be designed with him as the main character, not the easy Gears repaint/retool of old.

Well, seeing as MFT probably won't get around to that Combat Chronicle set just yet, and I'd already bought the LEGO Spear, I thought I'd give it a go. The initial idea of Milliput sculpting died on the operating table, just too fine a bit of detail for these ham hands, but the support skeleton actually came off better than expected so a few M.S.G. greebles and I think I've got the point!
