Hey guys... Two questions here, from one long-suffering UK Collector to another!

First, I’m yet to buy the Siege wave 1 Leaders Shockwave & Ultra Magnus yet, perhaps foolishly thinking that they wouldn’t take so long to reach saturation in the UK & I wouldn’t need to preorder (my years of experiencing poor distribution here have not taught me well!)

Where do you guys think is the quickest place I can get them from at a reasonable price by this point? (Ideally together) I thought Smyths would have them in by now, & I’m debating preordering online say at Kapow or TFs-Express if it’ll be that much quicker.

Second, do Kapow & Tfs-Express still get their stock from the East or is it from Hasbro UK now? As I’ll preorder Wave 2 from them if they’re a lot quicker, but if not cash is rather tight right now & i’d wait.

 

Kapow get from UK stock I believe now. They have Magnus back in stock but no Shockwave. The only pre order up for Shockwave is TFS Express. They still say feb, but we don’t know if their date has changed...

Also in the position of not preordering and now playing the waiting game.

I found shock on my smyths even when the stock checker said none, and got a bit excited when I did. I asked tfs and they said about 3 weeks for shock, and that was 2 weeks ago, so I suspect about a week (seeing as china tfs just got him).

I'm preordering now, amazing as my shockwave moment was, getting all excited seeing him totally unexpectedly, I want them locked down now. Even finding the little laserbeak/ravage was tougher than it should have been.

Do we know when the starscream/soundwave bunch hits the UK? Im seeing loads of photos of them in US stores on facebook.

 

Thanks for taking the snaps dude! Yeah, its not great, but still a better effort than FOC Soundwave's Boombox fan-mode. Ultimately, its all about the robot mode though, he looks damn sexy.

Starscream' undercarriage is at least more tidy and less obviously a robot compared to his POTP figure at least!

Starscream joins the Militant Monoformer Movement....

Took me a while to figure out where they go as well. They do help stabilize his ankles a tad.

 

Why is someone posting massive box pictures throughout this thread, ruining it.

 

A bunch of massive box shots with no words, no context, for no reason, blocking the entire thread. And that Blitzwing isnt a UK box.

 

Why would that be ruining it? I really like his pictures of all the boxes and he has been doing it for ages now. It's kinda what this thread is about as well as being a supportive group of Transformer fans who are allowed to express an opinion on everything and anything.

 

Because theyre massive, contextless and stupid. Fine, I can see people love having 2x massive jpegs in their face every 3 posts.

 

Doesn't bother me or several others that have been on the thread since 19-oatcake.

Enjoy the pictures, and if you don't, then block him and his posts won't show, simples!

 

From what I gather all UK shops are being beholden to Hasbro UK's street date which is April, it's annoying but hopefully they will actually send everything through, I can't imagine the likes of Kapow will be too impressed with the nerd rage they'll be subjected to if Hasbro UK skip waves like they have in the past.

Regarding the large pictures, I just tend to scroll past them but occasionally something cool or unusual pops up. I find it more of an issue on mobile.

 

Very nicely presented photos of the awesome artwork found on the box of a Transformers toy? Seems pretty reasonable to me... Personally, I thoroughly enjoy @Liokaiser1989 's pictures.
