Agree with Andy on this one - you need to appear, if just for the day, currycon and to make the usual mini purchase!

I'm sorry folks, strong opinions ahead. It can't be helped.

If anyone is looking at the piles of wadded-up tent passing themselves off as feet on that Bumblebee and not seeing it for the atrocious fuck-up it is then I don't know what help is needed there. I know opinions are personal, and we get bent out of shape when someone shits on sincerely held ones, but that THING is not what anyone wanted or should be in the business of excusing. Especially considering the arse-rape price tag and the fact that TT is on the box - they should be better than that.

PrimeIII has an awful backpack, and an awful price, but I am more than willing to concede that MOST of that figure at least does what it was intended to do - look like it stepped out of an animation cell with very few compromises. And for those that genuinely want that great.

This figure looks barely presentable from any angle other than straight on - and from the ankles up. And the face, as many of you have noted doesn't do it much in the way of favours. Proto or not it looks fucking abysmal.

It's money saved for me, I've really got to wonder if enough people are going to "convince" themselves they need it when price is a factor.

The 3Ps must be clapping hands, slapping backs and pissing themselves laughing because at least three outfits have to be thinking "fuck me, is that all we have to beat?!" And will make a killing soaking up whatever demand there actually is for Chibi-Bee, because no way is that the best solution possible to that Character.

@Underlord has pegged it perfectly - Disasterpiece.

I might get the Bendy Prime bit but I'm not liking the reuse of POTP Prime - I really didn't like that figure and don't know how much can be done to save the dismal articulation with a redo.

MP Hound - will wait and see what the price is, because I'm not seeing a lot there to convince me I need one now. Siege really has given me a different/Better way to look at Hound and I think I'll stick with it.

MP SheSpider. Maybe, but I'll let a few early adopters take the QC hit before chancing it. After Cheetor and Dinobot I've not got much faith in them doing it right first time.

Siege will definitely be keeping my money for the time being.

I tried to minimise my commitment to Siege and had bought, ordered and pre-ordered everything Siege available within a week thereafter; realising with this being the new Generations scale Titans Fort Max, Trypticon and Metroplex have real purpose.

Not to mention CW (UW) Devastator with Siege Omega. All made sense why they have and are re-releasing the UW combiners once Jetfire and Omega were announced.

I think I’m in love with new Armada Prime.

Also I just watched the first episodes of Headmasters, Supergod Masterforce, Victory and Zone and my brain has folded in on itself.

You.. you watched the first episodes of each, one after the other? Paul, that's ballsy as fuck.

Masterforce is pretty damn good once it gets going, like. Definitely the most out there but at least it tried something new. Headmasters is a ridiculous monotonous dirge though the dub remains genius levels of tragi-comedy, and Victory drags its heels but gets pretty great in its last third.

Armada Prime is in my mouth already.

Headmasters dubbing is fucking ridiculous, like all the voices are basically a monotone at twice the volume as the background sounds - Trypticon’s voice had me in hysterics - and the ‘story/plot’ editing made it incomprehensible. I will definitely come back to Masterforce as it does feel like it will pick up a lot, but I love Victory as it is absolutely fucking mental. Will absolutely watch the rest.

Zone was just utterly bewildering. Like, I have zero idea what the hell was going on or exactly what the deal is with the nine evil generals.

Well Fireflight took a lot less time to complete than anticipated, dried nicely overnight too...

I just cannot watch any of the dubbed episodes, just awful. Can't wait to get through Headmasters again as I can't remember a thing from the others really.

Top work, looks great. Really pops

Also has anyone watch any gen:lock yet? Looking for opinions.

The fellas with faceplates are the best - the actors genuinely put their hands over their mouths. And the names.. oh the names. Philip, Sparkle, New Soundwave.. what a fucking delight.

Zone carries over the more bizarre supernatural elements that Masterforce paved the way with via the evil space foetus Devil Z. Violen Jiger is a mad monster bastard who basically resurrects the biggest meanest Destrons (mainly gestalts and Masterforce's two big bads) to rob energy and create a Destron Zone.

The new MP Bee has me leaning to the side of Takara just biting the bullet and releasing non transforming super articulated figures. They're halfway there with Bee's faux chest. The back pack and feet just seem like too much of a compromise for what only adds up to a show accurate front silhouette.

A very eclectic set of reveals. G1, Japan exclusive G1, Beast Wars, Unicron Trilogy and Movie all getting a showing. Something for everyone. The Siege Armada Prime has captured my attention the most.
