I even love that the team members missing from the combiners, can be picked up seperately. GENIUS! Cant wait to see the fan mode intergration of those.

Same here, missed all of this yesterday. Not keen on Grimlock at all, the Trex mode looks goofy and looks a bit 'pimp my dinosaur'!

May be in the minority here but liking FOC blaster and strangely attracted to the gold Linkin Park Soundwave (it's so wrong it's so right).

 

I like Blaster, I just wish they were repainting the deluxe size foc soudwave into him instead!

 

Yeah that's a good call. The FOC Soundwave mold is quite cool and love the cybertron cassettes or whatever the heck they are.

 

Not a fan of the Voyager Soundwave/Blaster robot, too chubby.
KreO combiners are a must buy.
FOC Grimlock looks decent, not too hyped like everyone else.
Don't see the point in the Dark Energon line.
MP Thundercracker looks great, shame he isn't coming here though.

 

Yeah, it's a shame Thundercracker isn't coming here, looks pretty good (don't even mind the tailfins either)

Why market him and magnus as the new leaders back in 86 and then say 'nah lets go back to prime and megs' for every god damm continuity since,
Just give magnus and galvy some love, (magnus seems to be doing OK in the toy dept)
But what's galvy really got,
I just don't see why they can't market these 2 as the new leaders for prime season 3,
Or galvy could be the dark energon megs gone mad,

Ha- that's so true. It's p'ed me off since 86 that since the original movie they have done nothing with Galvatron. It seems a missed opportunity, but nice venting on the subject! Just shelled out for a Takara Henkei Galvatron as there is no decent Galvatron mold (and even that one has problems which I've overlooked simply to get a Galvy I half-like). After reading the classic Marvel comics where Galvatron was fantastic (thankyou Simon Furman) it's been a disappointment ever since......

 

Somehow managed to miss all the news yesterday and have finally looked through all the photos.

- Still glad I pre-ordered G2 Bruticus
- While the dino mode looks a bit odd on the tail end, I definately want that Grimmy (anyone want a Henkei Grimlock?)
- Finally we get Wreckers. I may pick them up for novelty purposes, but little more as I'm more than happy with the ones I've done for my classics shelf.
- I'm also liking the FOC Blaster, Soundwave and minions. I may get both Soundwave and Soundblaster one for my aligned universe collection, one for my Classicsverse shelf.
- I still want that GDO Hotspot.
- TF: Prime, while I like the figures I have (FE Bulk, PRID Wheeljack, Cliffy and Soundwave) the rest still haven't engaged me. Though that may be down to lack of display space and cash.
- MP Thundercracker v2, if it'd come out a long time ago I'd have jumped on it, but since I managed to pick up the Tak version for about £70 not long after release its a very easy no. Hell I still haven't gotten a MP Roddy even though I've seen him loads of times at TRU :/

To be fair Wasp, Galvatron and Magnus have had toys in most toy lines since. Remember RID Magnus, Animated Magnus, Prime Magnus, FOC Magnus, Robot Heroes Magnus not to mention the litany of White repaints on top. Then theres AEC Galvatrons, Classics Galvatron, Robot Masters Galvatron...thats what I can think of off the top of my head!

 

So, having slept on it, I might try to get my hands on Jetwing prime. If I order from amazon.com, will I get hit for import charges? (There was a conversation to this effect the other day, I just cant remember...).

I'll also be hunting down another FE Prime. Not letting that beautiful sucker out of my grasp again!!!

And yes, lego bag end looks wonderful. I'd very much like to live there!

What Miscreant said, when you get to check out there's a deposit for customs that's added onto your order total, which Amazon uses to pay off HMRC customs charges. It works really well as they did the same for the Amazon Unicron last year, granted I got the charge refunded for some reason, as did others here.
