Hey guys, I stopped reading this thread for like 3 days and there were a lot of new pages so I've been slowly catching up, anyways, hope all of you are doing great and I'm just doing a quick drive by to show @Seeaich this, fresh from SDCC buddy:D :

I'm content with my mostly-IDW Magnus from CW so not gonna bite that, but Hound seems reaaaaally tempting. Haven't got the old Hound yet so nothing to replace there.
And Cog is included, so that means Duocons are being continued?

Cog's photo says "weaponized deluxes" so I don't think they'll continue Duo-cons, maybe just Flywheels.

Interested in seeing more of Magnus and hound!

Cheers Andy - good to know.

Great review! I’m largely legends-only now, but had somehow missed knowing about this figure, so the write up is appreciated!

@Avon used TFS express quite a few times now, most recently with Crackup and absolutely no issues :thumb

The two issues you just mentioned (paint chipping and loose hands), don't exist on the actual Cybertron/Galaxy Force OP... maybe something to check out at TFN *hint hint*?

Seriously though, the THS toy is pretty much a diecast downsized version of the big guy, only with the electronics stripped out.

SDCC booth pics and WFC trailer video thoughts

Ok, I'm in for those new WFC Siege figures - the weapons and weapon pack/figures look fantastic, MICROMASTERS, and hopefully great takes on old characters (desperate to see Tracks' design) - and hey, a really nice, fun toy commercial that feels like the old 80s ones (I know that's the point). Plus, weapon effects! So we no longer have to pay over the odds for spare Iron Factory guns or Ban Dai etc effects...

The Cyberverse stuff interests me less and less the more I see - warriors seem to have a couple of interesting figures then godawful ones ruined by the gimmick.

Studio series - was always there for an Ironhide, but the KSI repaints/retools look great and give us more decepticons for the Autobots to fight (with obvious alternative Lockdown head so everyone buys it to mod theirs), and I'm even in for the weird Ratchet repaint since he looks good and comes with the ROTF gun. They know how to add these little details to sell the figures to collectors, eh? Can't resist a bright orange Lambo either.

Let's hope for even more character reveals this afternoon.

pretty much exactly my thoughts - never thought I'd get giddy over a reveal of Cog, but he looks sweeeeeeet - and micromasters always bring a smile to my face... cyberverse has drifted out of contention at quite alarming speed...

@Avon I've used tfexpress once or twice too, including one pre order. All good reports from my end.

Hhmmmmm. Voyager Magnus. I would like a voyager magnus to scale better as i always thought leader was too big. But i really like my lg magnus sooooo..... Guess I'll pass. Cog looks great though. They all do.

Aah if only I had the money for that.

I think I will paint it, acrylics are easy to remove...I tried painting one hand from my black PE Superion set (before I got a KO white set), the base coat went on fine but the white didnt, 5 minutes of warm water and a nail brush got rid of all the paint.

Link to WFC trailer. Very gun-focussed line, this! Everything in it looks amazing. Magnus' face looks much nicer than the previous version too, hurrah!

    Am excites.

WFC coming along very nicely indeed, dare I dream that this Magnus will finally do the guy justice and GIVE HIM WAIST ARTICULATiON?!!

    I know, crazy right?

Looks like I'm in for rebuying a bunch of characters I already have and am quite happy with. Bravo Hastak.

    Bravo.

Those micromasters certainly look interesting (and good to see my personal fave, Flak there ;)  ). Prime and Magnus look boringly same old, same old. I'm disappointed that the line doesn't have a more exotic Cybertronian aesthetic really (especially with my shelf-continuity being thousands of years in the future now - it's weird that some characters are still rocking vintage terran altmodes :p ), but there's still signs of tempty goodness beginning to appear.

They're shits, aren't they? Hasbastards. But after selling off 99% of my collection, I guess I've got a 'clean slate' for these guys. Will of course check early reviews and in hand pics but this line looks like a lot of fun. Let's hope they go for a nice full run of Season 1 and 2 autobots. With that new design and engineering, there aren't many figures they can't improve upon.

    Come on, Tracks!
