the internet dating has changed a lot in the last decade people used to be sheepish and only crazy people was online dating if the media was to be belived but as with everything things got better as more people excepted that normal people were online dating and it helps build a real connection to the personality. there is no rush for dates you could use it to make some more friends and see if anything blossoms. like a few people have said don't right it off straight away its not for everyone but could open you up to a world of new and exciting adventures but only do what feels right to you

@Brooticus I wouldn't be surprised if many who voted with you were thinking along those same lines but what we've ended up with is pretty much bang on what I expected (though I can't claim I'd have predicted cockpit surfboard Smol Primal, that was a not entirely pleasant surprise), and it's why I was hoping your Star Sabre or Thunderwing or Whohaveyou would win instead because this is the best they could do integrating him into the Evolution play pattern.
It had to be small Primal to Optimal Primal and there's no way to do that with a mainline toy budget that wouldn't have far more compromises than any of the other characters whose original designs would slip into an Evolution mode play pattern like a familiar sock.
I actually think the design is as grand as it could be, and the compromises have been made ingeniousy but it's not any form of Primal I hanker to own.

With all you people meeting your other halves through online dating, makes me feel like the odd one out for meeting my wife through work :lol

You may not feel ready for it right now dude, but maybe in the not too distant future. And to add to the positive feedback one of my friends just had his first baby with a girl he met online and has been married two years. He has had anxiety issues most of his life, low self esteem and other issues. It was difficult for him to take the plunge, and he'd a few false starts but he's not regrets. Kid thankfully looks more like his mum.

A few of my other friends have given it a go and have had success. I'm not going to pretend they all have found the loves of their lives, but they've had fun looking.

You have said in the past dude your trying to push yourself into social situations with the ferret club and the gym, and maybe this is the next step? But in your own time dude. Don't let some Gobshite from the job centre pressure you.

    Loser! Just kidding.

The online dating thing is tricky but I do have a few friends who've meet their long term partners online. Also I literally have a bevy of beautiful girl friends that can't find good guys to date. They're all clever, funny and very attractive but I think guys just don't ask them out.

This is literally how I feel but I'm to scared of @motorthing to say it. I think @Seeaich was right though. We kinda figured out what the play pattern was but let emotions get in the way. Why did primus curse us with hearts! Honestly, I'm more disappointed with the anti climax surrounding the event though. Like I really thought whoever we voted would have lasting repercussions on the tf World. Like windblade or (less so) Victorion. But instead it'll probably be the last figure just before a reboot

I met Mrs Toadimus in the Dev in Camden, we talked online a bit, and we got together in Slimelight, giving us the perfect goth romance, except Mrs Toadimus was never a goth...

If I hadn't met her, I'd most likely have started using online dating - I know quite a few people who have, to varying degrees of success. It seems to be one of the main ways that people meet each other these days.

In robot news, I got TR Kup as a belated birthday present. He really is as good as people say. I'm sticking with Topspin as my favourite from the line, but Kup is exceptional. It also gives me the holy trinity of Hot Rod, Kup & Blurr. I can now recreate that scene from Target: 2006 that we all love. :)

I'm ancient, as in First Autobot ancient so predating (see what I almost did there?) the Rise of Skynet I met Missus MT the old fashioned way..........walk up to Her in tacky nightclub, bash over head with club (tacky or not) or just bowl over with chemical assault of Brut, drag out by hair, court in Carpark, regret whole thing nine months later. Repeat to taste for 25 years.

I miss the romance of older days........

But if Interweb Dating "doesn't work" then that's going to come as news to all those I've "met and had a cuppa with" ;)  since 2006 when I discovered Broadband. Scammers every one!!!:D

    Robots? Haven't a fucking clue.

Same way me and my mrs met. I was in Rock City, looked around and she was there saying her mate had dared her to get off with me. Never one to turn that sort of thing down, I obliged and 12 ish years later we are still getting drunk too often :D

Before that, I didn't indulge in internet dating but I used to be quite handy at meeting girls and then chatting them up over Myspace/MSN.

Younger, single me would have bloody loved internet dating and all this mad stuff knocking about today. It's way easier than going up to girls in a place where it's so loud your ears are ringing like someones let off a grenade, and you are drinking things that are possibly toxic.

Oh to be young again and single again.

I wonder if I should try and track down a Primus/Cybertron from Toys R Us before they completely vanish?

I kind of want to drybrush the outside silver and have Unicron loom over it menacingly... :lol

    I've met a lot online.
It works fair enough. What doesn't work, is me.

Speaking of online dating... Maurice dear, my only question is: Why the reverse order ? Is that the japanese edition ?

Primal looks fun. My thoughts on Elita after some coffees.

    Meanwhile: Mood.

Is Repugnus even confirmed ? I'm not venturing in the news section much lately.

Anyway, I just realised -I'm slow- that POTP has -so far- more Decepticons than Autobots. Even counting Primal, Wreck-Gar, and Repugnus. What to do with that information you ask ? I don't know, I just... Write stuff... Because....

    ... Aaanyway: Elita !

    First impressions were:

    - Loveeeely colors. Makes me wanna eat some strawberry icecream.
    - Another fembot with a sublime head, well done Hasbro.
    - Damn, this is really a bizarre mold.

When Starscream arrived in my hands I immediatly had no problem with this mold because it bought us a different Screamer, something that I'll always find nice. Oh, transformation and jet mode were -and still is- nothing good, but had no complaint at all with the puffy proportions. Like I said, something different, a new body for Screamer, I like that.
Elita never had any body at all before that one. This mold is the only representation of her, in my hands.
So naturally: I have to judge !
And yeah, this is indeed a very bizarre mold. I'm still not sure that I understand it completely.
So ok, jet mode and transformation are still a solid, massive: NO (and that's coming from someone who is ok now with Optimus truck mode). For me, that is. I don't like it. I don't understand it. I don't need it.
Which, is fine, I just have to love the bot mode.
Do I love it ? Short answer: Yes. Once at peace with the strangeness of the mold, I just have to look at her and it works: She's great. The proportions are nice, the overall look is great, the colors are tasty, the face sculpt is great, and I have no issue with her being Voyager.
I even wondered if removing the jet/backpack would make her looking cooler, but in the end those parts work on her. She looks great with it. It's useless, since I don't like the jet mode, but she feels bad ass and cool with it nonetheless.

So yeah, I really like her, another great, solid fembot toy at home and I couldn't be happier. Made me realise that I perhaps need that T30 Chromia... Can't wait for Moonracer and Firestar to be here, not for combining, but only because all those female bots are more than a solid addition at home.

Now if you'll excuse me, I really need to buy some icecream.
