Inferno won’t be a purchase for me but I’m glad he’s reappearing in the line for folks who missed out on the Universe toy. Might dig that out today actually as I haven’t mucked about with it for yonks.

Went to watch Forest vs Birmingham yesterday. We won, and got Cotterill the boot, but I about froze to my seat it was so cold. Went out around town and got hammered but amazingly did not drink purchase any toys. Almost disappointed.

Love what your doing @tikgnat truly great! I always though Abominus was underrated, as i loved his bright colour scheme when i was younger. Nice to seed him getting some love from POTP.

@Sixo great pics! You make jet fire look like a bot with some personality! I though he was always boxy and didn't represent TF like there other did. especially when he was made leader in a comic where he was fighting Megatron. Correct me if i'm wrong but was that from when they couldn't import OP so they needed a new leader for the short comic?

@Large its never outbacks day. He never got the spotlight.

But with the new reveals, A [email protected] slash is nice and makes me hope for a G2 set of dinos. This could sell because of the couolours and they could shove it in a boxset annnnnnnnnddddddd Done. Easy money. I wish inferno was a mixture of Onslaught and Hotspot which I'lll probably end up doing my self. Maybe have the body Onslaught and the legs and crane Hotspot? That could work as it is what is on the artwork for his box. Outback looks great too. Definite buy for me.

Though I've said this before, seeing the end of POTP this early quite upsets me. with only 4 waves and half of them being repacks, its quite disappointing seeing as it had so much potential to finish the big gaps left by TR and CW. It gavels the Dinos, Jazz, Abominus and some legends. But not the rest of the car-bots, a Voyger Shockwave, And Soundwave based on his IDW design with is very similar to CW optimus, and Are we even gonna finish the primes at this rate? overall, i'll only pick up a few POTP figures and stop with my customs, as the next line looks to cater for my needs.

Also, @Avon I love your art work. Keep em' coming!

I'll echo that, I've only just come back to mainline toys, so to see it end so soon is very disappointing. Updated late series combiners like the Seacons would have been awesome, and dare I say a Monstructor? I'm just hoping we actually get a complete Abominus at this point.

On the plus side, it's money saved for the Koot and Rouge I've had on preorder for a fair while .

    Thanks all!

That could be fun, but I imagine you'd have to make quite a bit to break even, and don't think there'd be that demand. plus you'd have to miss all the events/drinkin :)

Outback! Looks great! I was unreasonably hoping they'd replace brawn's shield thing with his gun, but can live without that happening. For some reason I really like outback, despite his appearences in the comics basically being covered by your post and his cartoon incarnation being a hammed up aussie gimmick.

Ah no way, must have missed them. I tried the search button but it just gave me comments about people not wanting Blackwing...

@Seeaich did you find a home for yours?

@Avon, I wouldn't set up a stall for yourself. You'd have to sit at it the entire weekend and like you say, miss out. You wouldn't see the events, socialise, or have any fun. The best compromise would be to make a stack of them and sell them either through TFN's own dealer table, or someone else (like Toyfu or the Spacebridge or whoever) if you know anyone willing to have your stuff on their table.

I don't think I'm wrong in saying @Maz was working a dealer table last year and while it gave him early dealer room access, it seriously affected his enjoyment of the event.

    This fella.

    IMG_20180304_104142.jpg

Was from Orbital who have had one on the Pegs since Jan. Forbidden Planet just up the road had some left too as of last Tuesday so it's by no means too late to get one. If you're anywhere near a Smyths they may have him in as well. The Wave 2 DarkBlackDreadWindywings is only just turning up at Importers so again there will be a boat to catch if you want it.

I don't have him yet so selling him on already would be a bit previous. Keep an eye on Kapow, once the snow abates and the Wave 2 Preorders are getting fulfilled he may hit general stock.
I wouldn't rush for TOTP stuff (apart from the Dinos which I did out of Fanboyism) with it being a short line that's only just started hitting UK retail.

Dreadwind and Blackwing were the two I was most excited for in the run-up to POTP, and as I'm still waiting for my Kapow wave 2 delivery, Blackwing is still out of my grasp. As for Dreadwind, he's great, and just about as perfect a representation of the character as I could have hoped for.

To me its like rubbing salt into a wound, especially as I passed up on Universe Inferno for £9.99 once.

Thanks @motorthing @tikgnat & @Imperator I thought maybe they were both out because they're both listed on TRU's website. For Honestly, I don't really understand how the waves work. I get most of my info from this thread so I'm never ahead of the curve. I think @Seeaich you're right about not rushing, I've just been bitten by the bug. I've been a bit off transformers pretty much this whole year and suddenly I feel like I really need some toys!

Oh no! I bought mine for way more... so much for an investment piece :(

@Large I didn't know there were more games in the Earthbound series (or Mother series really) I played it on SNES emu in my teens and I just remember that game was so crazy. I'll look out for Mother 3 though fining gaming time these days is a bit tricky. Also, I hope you, your Pops and your family are doing ok and get the support you need. Sounds like a tough time.

Ouch! I remember 'Ferno being quite hard to track down and just when I'd given up hope He suddenly appeared in the local Entertainer for £15 and boom. One undignified trip to the till trampling all before me and it was panic over. And then Grapple (Not Grappel!) Was all over the place when he came out.
