I was playing around with the sculpting part of my modelling program with a pic of them in front of me the other day - but I must get on and finish up my 3d printable scrounge before starting something else..

The waiting game then... Do you know what other Leaders coming out? There's the Mexican Bandit Rodimus and an Optimus Primal at some point too right?

So I just saw the in-package w3 Prime masters. I didn't realise that Megatronus was just grey, even though all the pre-release pics have shown him to be so.

This has ruined my day. I wanted him to have a blue head and torso, to homage Bomb Burst, am disappoint.

I think you're looking at a less than 1% chance of ever getting a Rack 'n' Ruin toy. It's a character that's largely known in the American market, completely unknown in the Japanese market, has had no fiction, major or minor, devoted to it, does not have an obvious alt mode and little to no redeco potential. The business case for a Rack 'n' Ruin is pretty thin, I'm afraid.

    Go on Forest!!

It’s going to be a lazy day today, take the mrs out for some lunch and tidy the house as we are off for a few nights in the lakes next week, getting a last rest in before the little one arrives next month.

@motorthing - add gig tickets to hot toys et al on benefits - what a fucking life indeed. Sometimes I feel like a mug for going to work and actually earning my money.

    Go on Forest!

Eyyyyyy, steady now. That's the divide and conquer mentality they want you to internalise, mate.

"Benefits" instead of "Entitlements" is the biggest and most successful long con running. Barring outliers we've all paid in for the most part, and I have no problem with a safety net being comfortable. We should all be so cushy if circumstances turn against us.

You're not a mug for working, I am for not claiming JSA from the off during my 18-month to nearly two years unemployed/self-employed. I'd fallen for the self-sufficiency "don't rely on the state" myth myself (but it was coming from what I now realise were Centrist Neoliberals, I wasn't quite aware of how broad a church the Opposition was as they took the wheel back then). Whilst I didn't fall into debt, that's only because I cottoned on to signing on, and as it is I'd have a better-lined financial cushion than I have now if I'd've twigged earlier.
I don't begrudge anyone having the odd luxury or little hobby or both while on "benefits" because they should be enough to run an actual life, not just a subsistence. Employment has no moral value (unless what you do is putting good back into the world, exceptions to every rule, innit?)
No one should be punished for circumstances they don't have entire control over. No one should be forced into a demeaning shitty job to subsist. (Besides how many of those will eventually be automated out of existence?)

Sorry if this got a bit baggy, it's not meant as a drag on you. It just makes me so mad that a certain (fabricated, mostly hereditary) societal class cruise along their lives breezily ignorant of their "Benefits" (of Status, and (In)"Breeding"), while us "beneath" them are trained to self-flagellate and police each other.

Ahh I won’t get into it Chris. But as an aside I used to, in a previous life, work as a Benefits Officer for Birmingham City Council, so I’ve seen a pretty broad spectrum of stuff. Let’s just say my spidey sense tingles sometimes, and there is some truth to ‘if it walks like a duck’ sometimes as well.

Anyway, is anybody from/has been to the Lake District recently? Any tips on any nice boozers to visit for a nice bit of scran?

Eh, Roll on Universal Basic Income, I say. That'd eliminate all sorts of bother.

I’m hoping to see some POTP stuff in the wild - I loved my G1 Dreadwind toy, and his comic appearances, so hoping to pick him up. Dinobots, if I saw Sludge and Snarl in the wild I’d probably grab them just to have a mess with for a bit. We haven’t had nearly enough Dinobots, I sold off my FT ones as I just felt there was something ‘off’ about their character.

I *knew* I came on here to post something more Capitalist!
A bit too close to W2 Pre-Order Payment to swing me, I'm afraid but a bargain nonetheless!

It's still a steal - that's an awful lot of toy for that price ;)

I've nothing to say about Sludge and Snarl because mine are still.......somewhere. But they look nice.

£40 from Nottingham Toys R Us, which I reckon is well reasonable. Sadly this was the last one they had, so I’m not going to put it in the sightings thread, but if you've noticed one near you and didn’t want it at full price grab it now before it (and the shop) is gone.

Kinda torn about a swing by Bradford TRU, always feels a tad vulturous picking scraps from a metaphorical corpse. Especially as in my case I'd be getting him just for the missiles I'm missing on my original 2nd Hand AutoGod! (Well, and maybe the jazzy new Cyberkey too? Plus I'm not even sure they had him in at Bradders branch anyway.:p )

Might just do a futile B&Ms run instead to see about a bargain Roadburn to get Cliffjumped!
I further enabled myself, by enabling @ambitron after his enabling custom paint job!
