Looks like it's wearing one of those Russian hats. Lol.

I wouldn't risk it unless you arr super determined or there's something that absolutely must be done today that is super critical

    Definitely don't risk it!

This is the view from my front door. It's 5" here, and looks like about a foot by the time you get to the car, then worse beyond that. I've decided against leaving the house today!
    20180301_081754.jpg

All these robots... you'd think at least one of them would turn into a snowplough!

I'm a butcher in a supermarket that only serves old dears who won't make it in anyway, not exactly essential services.

I'm 6'2 in my hiking boots and it's up to my bloody knees.

    Meanwhile in the Soft South.......

    image.jpeg

We are at about 3" worth which is obviously the End of Everything. Not anticipating my POTP Dinos or anything else. I'll live.

Hoping everyone is sensible and no Captain Oates stuff today. Stay safe folks.

    I wouldn't then.

Thanks to being on the roof most if yesterday, I'm now ill. Blegh. Got the work done but blegh. Considering half the company has been off sick all week, place is gonna be pretty empty today.

This is the view in Nottingham. Not quite as bad as gtf316 yet, but looks like it'll get there. IMG-20180301-WA0000.jpeg
Think I'll stay in and play with the predacons. Those who do venture out, stay safe and go slow.

    @nice sideburns,
No worries, hope you're able to find something you like soon!

With the weather likely to have knackered the bus schedules I'll be making sure I go out extra early in order to get to Nottingham for the Bill Bailey gig. Am hoping I can actually get a bus as I'm not sure a ferret drawn sled would be very good in this weather as they've only got little legs and can only see a few feet in front of them at the best of times :D

No major snow drifts at my neck of the woods, but it’s been snowing since 6 and will probably have to close the shop early.

Due to the subzero temperatures it does mean i’m Keeping my double doors closed, which thoroughly confuses the people of Newport who then think we’re closed.

Rocking this Clerks reference all day today

Why aren't you giving a bontempi organ recital in your window for those mad enough to be out.

Who's got Rippersnapper yet? Which do you think might be your favourite bot from the Terrorcons. Stoked beyond my miniscule mind to be getting these looking as champion as they do.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye on things as the day progresses!

I've already had a phone call saying my doctor's appointment for 9:15 was cancelled as the doc couldn't get in due to the weather so we'll see what else occurs. The show should be going ahead as Bill Bailey has Tweeted a video of the snow over Nottingham as seen from his hotel room so it's just the getting there that'll be the tricky bit....and getting back if the snow doesn't let up although I can probably sleep on the sofa at my niece's flat if the buses decide to stop altogether whilst I'm still at the gig.

Hope everyone else here stays safe and warm!

Definitely don't do it - I just tried to get up our hill from the main road and went into a spin that thankfully stopped before I hit anything. And then tried a busier, gritted road, which was fine until coming back down a snow-covered slope to our road, whereupon my brakes gave up the ghost and thankfully I managed to stop at the corner before hitting anything. Put it into second, crawled to our house, got the heck out of the car.

I'd head home now dude, you'll struggle to get back home at this rate!

Well, I just drove my kid to school, no sweat.

Roads are very snowy/icy, but y'know. 4WD, clutch control and common sense prevailed. The main gritted roads were all snarled up, so I detoured off onto ungritted roads to bypass to get back home.

I'm still waiting for wave 2 to get posted out. What with the weather and all, I SUSPECT I MAY BE WAITING SOME TIME! Rippersnapper is definitely the wave 2 deluxe I'm most excited for. I've got a funny feeling he's a contender for bot of the year. He and Blot were always my favourite Terrorcon limbs, as they've both got he nuttiest alt modes. I think that's going to be true for the PotP versions. They both look fucking fantastic!

    Are you going?

I've seen Bill a few times now and have always had a great time at his shows, his style of humour just works for me and I also think he's an amazing musician, most people struggle with 1 instrument but he's very capable with just about anything.
