lovely headsculpts - especially Rippersnapper's - is it me or does Sludge look like he's got a nervous Tic? - been a freaking horrendous couple of days trying desperately to get everything tied up before I disappear of on Hols (Rome & Florence, for those who are curious), and the perfect tonic came today - POTP Battletrap c/o Nott Bot Co. Now where the hell are the POTP wave 2 PO's?

    edit - shit , forgot - lovely review @incapable hulk - I do enjoy your write-ups ;-)

I know, right? This is the worst bit in the Generations collector cycle. You know what's coming out way in advance, so there's not much to be had in speculating. The next release is just that little too far away. The next proper reveals are also just a tiny bit off. If hasbro tweeted a doodle of starsaber smoking a *** I'd be on it like a thirsty man on water.

Most likely to be MMC as they do all the MTMTE esque designs. But with their backlog I don’t hold out hope to see one any time soon. Even if they started work on it the instant Scorps was revealed, it would be next year before it was released.

@incapable hulk - excellent write up as always.

@Dreago - excellent too. You say the articulation is great, but is it restricted at the hips? The positioning of the waste-panels to the cut of the thigh panels look like an MP10 deal where they are just enough to stop full leg-raises? Also are the knees stuck at 90degree limits or can they go deeper than that. I like what I'm seeing, but if it's stuck in fairly static poses I'm not going to bother. Ta very for your input.

The Wait: yes the crawl towards Wave2 is nail-chewing but another weeks grace to let finances recover a bit wouldn't go unappreciated. Real World and all that.

Also, the Missus has somehow managed to run over Slag with the Dyson - that's a phrase that could have graced a 1980's Tabloid cover. Three foot drop to the floor and attack with monster appliance have done for the Swoop-Sword I gave him. It's all broke.

    Bugger.

Today's random robot stuff. A teeny Transformers book and wee talking Optimus Prime mini-bust. It's got a Peter Cullen voice chip (far better than dodgy anniversary MP Prime talking base with the awful voice) and a pretty decent headsculpt. I thought I'd lost tge book, but Prime's disembodied head and chest lives amongst the many other Optimus Primes in my collection.

FINALLY, my CW Air Raid turned up so I can crack on with a comic accurate Krok! Took me bloody months to find one that wasn't forty bloody quid.

Oh, is it me or does TOTP Sludge's facial expression suggest that he's extremely indignant at being blamed for a fart that Grimlock clearly did?

Thank you, and you are right about the hips. You can get them out to a near full van damme sideways, which is the only bit of articulation I forgot to snap, but forwards and back are limited. I hadn't been limited by it, but I had been impressed by the range of motion around the shoulders and knees, and the elbows have me more than enough.

Anyway, here's a pic showing the range on the joints, how it helps.

Ironichide posts and I get MP Barricade arrives in the post. Serendipitous. Good to see you bud.

Imma now spam pictures of that thing that Ironichide, Scubaboy and I worked on for a while, but fell embarrassingly by the wayside. While it lasted, it was beautiful.

    Enjoy.
