From my play time, Erebus is brilliant fun, GT Megs is an amazing toy of a character version that isn't getting loads of toy love, MMC Megs is gorgeous and has the different modes but not super fun times posing, and MP Inferno is genius but not huge amount of character love for me and I'm not big on the lack of detail; Artfire is 123127365% my thing with the retro detailing and I love him.

No idea about Meteor or PotP stuff cos not out yet innit.

If I were buying stuff now now now I would probably go with GT Megs for an initial fun hit and follow it up with the PMOP version of Erebus when he comes out.

But you could get an awful lot of PotP with that money...

He is my favourite. Got to see him as part of the NXT show at Download in June and he was amazing!

 

Actually had a shit steak before the wrestling, overcooked gristly bollocks.

Just means I'll have to go out for a really good one before Justice League in a couple of weeks.

And another before Royal Blood a couple of weeks after that.

Then another before Stone Sour next month.

Then it's my birthday the following week so probably another.

Can we talk about TLK Legion Megatron for a second?


What is it about this design that lends itself to great toys? Pretty much every version of this mould is great in one way or another. This little legnds guy has a great transformation of how his cockpit bevomes his fiusion cannon, decent articulation and looks great in all modes. Hell I even got him from Tesco at a disocutn (£5.62).

Honestly, with a few minor additions (elbows, ability to fold wings down mainly) and he'd make a decent deluxe version of the mold.

HE HAS KNEES! HOW MANY LEGIONS CLASS TOYS HAVE KNEES!?

I don't usually bother with the legions aside from a couple in prime (Air Vehicon mainly) but this guy was just too good to pass up.

 

Oh Ratchet. It does seem unfair that such an important character gets stuck with one of the toys that's as far away from the character model as can be. Sticking the TransforGO! head on does help but still...
Anyway, I'll always love him. It's fucking Ratchet. Definitely one of my favourite characters from the comics. I loved all the UK stuff with him walking round with the Dinobots (Decepticon Dambusters/Wrath of Grimlock/etc) and from that point on I always regarded him as one of the most important and high ranking Autobots. I also loved that little detail Budiansky put in his bio about him loving to through parties. Everytime I think about it I picture him as Leonard Nimoy in Colombo.

When Ratchet and Drift returned to MTMTE in the middle of 'Dying of the Light' I was so happy that Milne had decided to give Ratchet an update based on his Prime design. Straight onto ebay to pick up a deluxe TF  Ratchet. He looks quite at home on my Lost Light shelf. Good toy!
