His planet mode is growing on me a bit.

I kinda wish the blue/grey was slightly more muted, but I can live with it.

Growing on you? I'm sure there's a cream for that. Sucks about the red eye but green eyes! It probably would have been cheaper for Hasbro to do a white LED bulb instead of a coloured red/green one surely? IIRC blue LEDs are the ones that are expensive?

Also, IIRC you can perch him on a table edge on the flat bit of him behind the ring.

I've been pondering if it's possible to open the head and switch the LED. I'm sure it is, but I'd probably need a soldering iron or something. It's fine as it is, the green is plenty bright enough on its own, it'd be nice if they actually glowed green though :lol

I currently having him at an angle and resting on his ring at the moment. It's surprisingly sturdy where it plugs into his feet.

Thanks muchly for the suggestions! Liking the G2 love (I had Archforce at one point; indeed a totally awesome toy), and yeah, Snapdragon's on the shortlist: ta :)

As is a copy of the Chinese reissue of Visualworks, as I've just seen I've been diddled by a scam ebayer over the one I'd found on there. How irritating.

Bad times - hope you get some actual holiday soon as. And cool about the Webb book - didn't know that had come out. Love that blog.

What was the damage for him, guv'nor? I'd like to keep my options opened in case he's skipped at UK retail.

I've been working non-stop on this and have a few boxes now of fanzines, badges and posters! They look absolutely fabulous in person!

£35 including free postage. It appears the guy I bought it from has upped the price though.

At least he brushes his teeth after every attempt at "binary bonding."

    Nice!

I'm hoping Iron Factory do a Skywarp variant along the same lines.

Really loving the Seekers so far, it's nice to get the main ones plus Ghost Starscream all in one hit and they work much better for me in this scale than MP as they take up much less room and are a lot nicer to play around with.
