Apparently accordingly to the UK GI Joe FB group I blinked and missed SAF putting firefly V.2 up for £13.77 today, so I'm still waiting for my full RRP Pulse UK Pre-order on the 27th of this month!
Wonder what other Crazy Classified Joe stuff may occur?

Ah, But will it be racist enough to be true to the spirit of Blyton?
Oh, George the Tomboy cast black? I think Ol' Enid might be okay with that! :p

Does anyone remember the choose your own adventure/fighting fantasy type books? Particularly any set in modern(ish) times. I’m trying to remember one I read back in my schooldays. It was set in a jungle & one of the protagonists (a tech guy?) is attacked by a boa constrictor.

That’s pretty much all I can recall.

I remember them, but there were LOADS about in the late 80s and early 90s. Wouldn't be able to name a single one, though!

Handshaking - it's like Xmas cards in that it's now completely unnecessary. Combined with management fakery* it makes me inner-cringe.

    * I only want fake when it's AliExpress or Lidl own brand.

Origins Extendar pre-order is next Wednesday!!!!

Assuming the boobs at Mattel don't lock the EU out by pressing the wrong button seconds before the window opens I'll be getting 2 so I can display one at regular size and one with all the extended parts.

Dragstor is also teased on the rear card art so hopefully he's in the not too distant future.

Just read the chapter of the Andre The Giant book where he spent the best part of a year around the UK scene in 1969 and had one match that would have been seen on World Of Sport under the name Jean Ferre although it's not clear if the footage still exists.

It's also intresting that the first loss in his career was to Kendo Nagasaki, who would beat Andre in all 3 encounters.

Next up appears to be his move to Japan where things really began to take off although it wasn't without difficulties because facilities in that part of the world were not suited to someone his size.

Getting the book reminded me of this picture of Andre visiting the set of "Conan The Destroyer",

Arnold doesn't look small very often but he does here! :D

Well, I wasn't chuffed to find myself fixing another wolf's golden boss eye but I have done it, at the pretty much half-pricing I shouldn't grumble, and now at three I can call my Timbers a pack!
Ralphie got his gun but it's only one step on his journey, as I'm looking into jewellery chains (I'm looking at sourcing some in gunmetal/black but the 10m of it from China Ebay seems a bit overkill!) to upgrade his to-be-combined nunchucks, and for a clear gun draw I'm considering docking the right belt side sword loop to make it a back scabbard slot instead.
Also I'm crossing everyfing that SAF don't further discount both again as happened last time I helped them clear shelf space! :p

Yay, Amazon German have delivered my MGS Wedge Antilles X-Wing.

Very much doubt that I'll see the Biggs Darklighter variant though.

New Red Dwarf confirmed for 2025

Red Dwarf 'returning to TV with 3 brand new episodes' | Radio Times

I wonder if they'll air on DAVE or BBC? BBC recently reaqquired the series rights for i-player and there were some reruns of the first two series on BBC TWO last year

It's all a bit strange, I ordered Red 2 and the TIE Bomber from Amazon DE at the start of May and both had a 'we'll deliver this sometime between Sept-Nov' date, but then last week I got a 'good news' email from them saying Wedge was on his way.

My position on Red Dwarf is rather like visiting an elderly relative - even if their glory days are passed, they don't need to do anything else to impress me, even them keeping going at all is a gift :)

I did enjoy some bits of s11 and s12. I think it's kind of a pity that Doug Naylor has ruled out a big final episode where they ride off into the sunset, too many shows don't get to do that. Obviously it would need to be undermined by silliness, but some sort of ending before one of them ages out of acting would be good!

Also note with interest from that article that Rob Grant is working on a prequel. He's got a bit of the glinners about him, and I find it harder to separate the art from the artists when they're still alive. But interest in the idea, nonetheless.

I was in the audience for the filming of episode 1 of the Promised Land and it was GLORIOUS. The first take with Holly's backup disk: Full five minutes of genuine laughter. Ruined by a line flub, then a plea: "Can you laugh like that again?" I think maybe four or five times that disk got dragged out?
I'm also on the Blu Ray extras just frothing excitedly in that way I do.
If they want to keep dressing up, being weird and slobby and making fun of Sci Fi tropes and current trends, I'm all for it. Even at their worst, the Dwarfers have always been amusing. (See "Zoom and Enhance" in "Back to Earth")

One more Marvel Legends figure on my X-Men shelf is about to get placed in the sales/bin pile :)

Still on their "to do" list,

Nightcrawler ( A character that's itching for MAFEX level articulation. )

Beast & Colossus ( Their Hasbro figures are decent but I'm intrested to see what Medicom could do with both.)

Jubilee ( Hasbro's female Marvel figures are mostly shit, especially the articulation. )

Professor X ( Doesn't need MAFEX level articulation but if the plan is to complete the team then Chuck shouldn't be left out. The chair would be different to the Hasbro one and there's potential for headsculpts with different expressions and better effect pieces. )

    I would also like,

Sabertooth ( Magneto shouldn't be the only villain in the line and Wolverine needs his nemesis. )

Juggernaut ( His Hasbro and Diamond Select figures are decent, but I want to see Medicom have a crack at him. )
