I hope they take full advantage of the Corps to have other Green Lanterns show up. Funnily enough, DC silliness over who they were allowed to use aside, I always hoped Supergirl had got an episode with an alien Green Lantern chasing a fugitive to Earth. It would have fit right in with the first season's themes with alien criminals and the like.
Gunn explicitly stated that "some other Green Lanterns will be scattered in there" but that this story is specifically terrestrial based on Jon & Hal working "Earth Precinct" and that they find a "terrifying mystery" in their latest case that ties into the overall DCU meta-plot, I'm guessing seeds of the big bad (are they just gonna do Darkseid again but Smorter, or has Gunn got another contender up his sleeve? The Anti-Monitor?).
Not sure about that Michael Jackson biopic they just announced, I think they need to change the ending so he goes back to his home planet in 1992 and is never heard from again.
The CW Series 'Superman & Lois' Will Last One Or Two More Seasons AKA We need Supes for movies. But FFS, with that in mind, are The Batman and Joker sequels gonna end those arcs? Because if you are gonna have a multiverse... 1. Why not just fucking call it that anyway? You'll do it eventually no matter what. 2. Leave the TV show alone! It's the only one with any level of quality and audiences are smart enough to understand different canons if you even wanna do that. We've got the internet and everything!
Especially silly when the CW shows have been dealing with Multiverse for years too, and despite word of god and I gather later than the one season I've watched so far Superman & Lois was clearly supposed to be on the same Earth as the other shows originally based on dialogue and them taking part in the Diggle crossover and the like. Mind you crap like this has been effecting CW DC for ages with DC being finnicky with who they'd let the show use. Like the CW version of Deathstroke is fantastically written and cast but they had to stop using him because he was due to appear in a Batman film at some point. Similarly they had their own version of the Suicide Squad and Deadshot and despite movie Deadshot being black and Arrowverse Deadshot being a white guy DC told them they couldn't use him anymore so they had to kill him off . Mind you they later managed to have another version of the Squad turn up with a different name and different members including none of the ones from the movies but it pissed me off no end that several interesting takes on characters got put on a bus or killed off because of the DC higher ups think the viewers are morons!
So he'll have something to prove as he'll try and show Bayern they were wrong for not picking him more often! This far into the season I think ten Hag has earned a fair bit of trust so hopefully it'll be another smart decision.
Got a belated Christmas present from one of my sisters today which was spent on, NECA Ultimate Jungle Hunter Predator "Where Eagles Dare" blu-ray Also got a refund coming from some concert tickets as after multiple reschedulings the Judas Priest/Ozzy tour has finally been cancelled due to Ozzy's ongoing health issues. Wasn't surprised as it was originally meant to take place in 2019 but still got the Iron Maiden gig later in the year to look forward to and hopefully Priest will do a UK tour in the near future. MOTU = Multiple listings of new stuff for Origins, Masterverse and the CGI line have appeared!!!! Most notable for me are Origins Talon Fighter with Point Dread and Masterverse Ram Man and Grizzlor
Before I forget yet again! @Insurgent : It's not been announced yet, but images have leaked in the past few months of a, new Lord Zedd figure coming down the pipe in Lightning Collection - I remember you saying something about wanting him, so there might be a better chance in the hopefully not too distant future than overpriced secondary market prices of the previous figs. Speaking of Zedd, I've hit the Dino Fury episode with his return. Badass! It was great seeing him cut loose, and this is without his staff! New actor did a decent voice in place of the late OG actor's distinctive voice. Kind of weird though, so far Ollie (blue) being so self confident/not afraid of anything is a character trait he's not really shown till this episode. Also fun they bring Zedd back in an episode which is part of a tradition of bringing back old monsters in Halloween episodes .
Nice. I was thinking maybe the two pack of him and rita that kapow still haven't moved. I always wanted a rita but one wasn't made back in the day so i used the picture of her from the goldar box (think studio series style background) and said she was projecting a hologram. Lol. I wonder if the new zedd figure will be based on his dino fury look, he's a bit more beefed up in the show, which coupled with them saying he's from when he was at his most evilist, makes ne think younger zedd with the mmpr zedd being old age zedd and he just sorta retired after killing the machine empire royal family, since i don't think he did too much in In Space. Yeah, they totally did zedd justice in that episode. I was grinning like a loon when i watched it. His voice was passable but not great to me. Fortunately, when he does return, they've tweaked his voice performance a little. It's still the same guy but sounds closer to his og voice, but without trying to be a bad copy. And if you thought he was a badass here..... I only wish all returning characters in tv were treated with this respect.
That time your dad said he'd fix the TV. The piece of snot had to go but Stratos was still proud of it.
I liked the comment under the pic where it said he looks like Cody Rhodes cosplaying as a MOTU character! @4249david, 2 in 2 for Fred....unbelievable Jeff!
You know you've made an impact when my split second inital reaction to that goal was "I'm surely gonna have to say something to @bcm77 about the new goal machine" and then I cheered
