Windows 10 is driving me potty, I had it activated and it had been working fine after it was "free updated" from windows 7 then when the last update arrived it deleted my key and told me it wasn't varified and says "can no use that key" in response to the windows 7 key it was perfectly happy with before... I tried rolling it back taking out all the updates.. and yeah zip. it's really vexing as I know it was verified when I happend to look at that page in December. Anyone got any ideas.. or maybe a spare windows 10 key ?
If you claimed the free update from an older version back when that was a thing, then it should have the generic key for whatever edition it is as MS now identifies the computer by its hardware. Oh, it gets better, multiple authorisation attempts on my PayPal account/bank that may or may not go through now. I wonder is it this fucking pathetic in the rest of the world or is it just something the UK specialises in? Because I've never had a single problem buying internationally.
