"There will be a new Prime... The time for a new leader is upon us."

 

In defiance of the upcoming Bulkhead (who still looks like he’ll be a fine toy nonetheless), I have bought my first TFP toy in about eight years - First Edition Bulkhead. He’s worth every penny. It’s astounding that this guy was so accurate and yet was still among the very first figures to come out. He’s big, bulky, and colorful and has a lovely alt mode. Animated Bulkhead is still best Bulkhead, but this toy is arguably as great a feat of engineering as some of the better Animated toys. Well done.

 

Still waiting on APC to release their Bulkhead KO so I can finally have that version of him on my shelf again....

 

I got the Hasbro pulse Breakdown and Vehicon set today, and these are also my first full sized Prime figures, the only figure I had from that toyline beforehand was a Legends Cliffjumper.



Breakdown is really cool, Hes all beef and muscle. They should definitely make a Generations version of this iteration of breakdown in TF Legacy.



As for his vehicle mode, Hes one big ass SWAT truck. It makes me wonder just how big this thing would be compared to a regular car


Now for the Jet Vehicon, This guy to me is possibly the coolest troop builder I've ever seen,
I'm surprised that these are just the cannon fodder guys the decepticons throw at the autobots to die because their designs are awesome.


And the Vehicle mode, This thing is the reason why I love the vehicons. This is a badass flying batmobile and I just cant get enough of it.


So Overall this is a great first dive into the prime series and I'm looking forward to getting more of these guys.

 

In case anyone needs to know, BBTS appears to have FE Bulkheads in damaged packaging for $65. If I was going to get one, I'd check with them to verify the figure is in good shape.

Ugh....I've been waiting on APC's Bulkhead for two years now,but am tempted by this....

 

I have a question if anyone can hopefully answer. Does platinum edition ultra Magnus scale with today's figures?
