I've always liked Vertebreak more than Lazerback, the colors just work better for me.

It will be quite a few photos that I will send out gradually. It's a combination of army building, extensive customs, and various reimaginings from past lines (G1, Beast Machines, Animated, IDW, etc.). I have at least 30 more customs I plan to have done over the next few years to pretty much have G1 covered.

Agree, the designs and the engineering of these guys are top notch.
This is probably why the prices on these guys are going up...

I just finished collecting the on-screen autobot team a few months ago, and these are the only figures that I have absolutely no regrets on spending the over-inflated aftermarket prices for. These figures (specifically the First Editions) are better than just about anything we're currently getting. I'd like to replace my RID Prime and Bulkhead with the FE versions at some point though.

Only issue is that I can't stomach spending over $300 just to get both of the FE voyagers, regardless of how amazing they are.

$300?? You must be looking for sealed Takaras on those two. Hell, you could find those even for under $200. Just watch ebay, the Hasbros are never that high, and they always pop up in spurts.

Over $300 would be the combined price for both in CAD, but generally Optimus is at least $160 loose and Bulkhead is $90+ sealed. I probably could have made that a little bit more clear :p

I got my Bulkhead sealed for $40, and I have seen Takara Primes go around for less than $90. Maybe we are not looking at the same spot? :D

I'd love to get them for those prices. Guess I'll just have to keep watching and hope.

I keep my FE primes sealed, all of them. I just love how the packaging art looks. I remember when they first announced the cancellation to on them and how people were scrambling to get them, but then half a year later they got released at tru.

Great shots, but I do have a question. How's the FE Vehicon? It was one of the two FE figures that I really wanted but never managed to get, and I did settle on the excellent PRID one. I know the former is apparently more complex, but generally speaking, is it also anything worth talking about?
