And I got this email this morning regarding an order I placed last Thursday:

 

I'm wondering what ever doesn't get sold would the discount stores get it?

 

i can still put things in my cart. When does it say that?

 

I went to 2 different TRU today hoping for some POTP Dreadwing for army building. But no POTP Transformers except a couple Prime Masters And 1 lone Starscream.

OMG, still had a hope they keep the website open and finding a way of keeping in business as an online retailer.  

 

Doubtful. Toy Manufactuers are basically rioting at how TRU owes them all millions of dollars in unpaid for inventory. They'll never restock even an online-only operation unless it's a completely different business that just has the TRU IP (which is very likely to happen as the name is worth billions of dollars according to estimates).

Of course they don't want to take responsibility for the dreadful products with absurd MSRPs they've put on the shelves that made this catastrophe possible. I hope the geniuses behind $150 Power Range Red Ranger Swords, the bland Justice League movie line, the TLK TF line, the perennially shelfwarming Marvel legends, the overpriced Lego, and the shakedown that is Star Wars, are all pleased with themselves.

 

I got this same message on an order. Ah well....

 

Glad I grabbed Grotusque when I did. I tried to get Arcee as well, but they canceled that part of the order. Oh well.

Hopefully, I can get a good deal on PrimusCybertron during the deals.

 

I had cashed out my Rewards and finished off my boy's birthday. One half shipped and I didn't know it was half until it was delivered.

I got the email that my remaining order might not be sent. They ended up sending it...

In a polybag. That got ran over by a car, then put in a wood chipper, chewed up by Godzilla, then shoved in my mailbox.

I can't fucking return it, or get customer service.

Thanks for going out in style with me, TRU.

 

Now I feel better to have canceled my 6 Avengers

 

Yup, they seemed to have torched as many bridges as they could on the way out the door, upping order amounts early this year with companies like Crayola, and refusing to return product to other companies who fronted product on unsecured lines.

I still think when the dust settles, we won't be without TRU in some shape or form for more than 6-12 months, and I would even say depending on how fast the courts move, we could see something launching before next Christmas.

I had this same message from a recent order I placed on March 15. On the 22nd they said there was a significant delay in shipping. 5 hours later it shipped.

Hopefully it works out for you and the rest.

 

I had same thing happened to me. I placed an order and a week and half later I got an email saying there was a significant delay in shipping. Item was shipped out next morning .

 

Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhh, they weren't ever really good at the whole "online" thing. That's a large part of the reason they're in this mess.

 

I placed an order on thr 15th. Received a delay notice then a ship and got the completed order. My last order not terrible battleslash!
