Star Tours is an absolute blast. You should have gone when Season of the Force was a thing; Space Mountain was Hyperspace Mountain for a while. The Jedi Training Academy is a fun little skit to watch, as kids (nowadays you need to sign up beforehand, in the original kids were picked from the audience) learn a simple lightsaber combo and fight Darth Vader.

Plus, they are in the middle of building Star Wars Land over between Fantasyland and Frontierland; the building that will house the main attraction will be a dominant part of the skyline alongside the Matterhorn, Space Mountain, and Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The best part is, when it opens in a few years, the entire experience will be totally immersive, as if you actually stepped into the Star Wars universe.

Don't know if it's a new attraction or replacing the old.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom into Zootopia.

    What do you think?

Went to Six Flags over Georgia today with some friends. We rode one of the wooden roller coasters, that has a bunch of big hills. The cars are two seats wide, with a seatbelt that goes across both riders and a lapbar that sits above the knees as a handhold (not much of a restraint). So, I tightened the belt pretty tightly, not uncomfortably so, and we were off. First hill was bumpy but fine. Second hill... I must've bumped the buckle or jerked too hard in the seat because the seatbelt came unbuckled. My friend and I just had to hang onto the lapbar for the rest of the ride; I got a bit too much air on some of the hills and got a headache from my head slamming against the headrest. Back at the station, the attendant didn't find anything wrong with the belt.

So that was my excitement for the day.

I probably would've passed out if that happened to me.

It makes sense to incorporate some Zootopia into the park, but it would feel kinda weird to me since Animal Kingdom
mostly revolves around non-anthropomorphized animals. Mostly. As in animals who aren't wearing clothes and listening to iPods.

Ah yeah. Disney Quest was fun. I liked that Sid's room game. The place felt like the closest I've ever been to a real Pizza Planet.

The Pirates of the Caribbean interactive ride looks like it borrows heavily from the old Pirates of the Caribbean: Online game. I still miss it, bugs, glitches, and primitive graphics and all.

I am currently in Cincinnati for work and the Only upside has been Kings Island being 20 minutes away, I have a Cedar Fair Platnium pass that gets me into all their parks so I sometimes hit up Cedar Point which is about 4 hrs away.

If you look close enough, you can see metal plates beginning to cover the AT-AT skeletons.

Do so! Check out 'Cincinnati in Motion' as well as 'Tower A' when you get the chance, they're pretty cool.

Also, the building - Union Terminal - is what inspired the look of the Hall of Justice for the Justice League.

Where did the rumor of Knott's getting an infinity or eurofighter coaster come from? I know they're taking down Boomerang. I would love an infinity coaster, or a nice wooden. We desperately need one after the hybridization of Colossus.

Took these from the highest I could get on Windseeker at Kings Island.

Any Cedar Point people know if they still have surveillance cameras on the bigger coasters? I'm kind of a freak about getting pics from as high as possible, and last time I was there (few years back) they had cameras and would boot people out for having cameras/phones out. I think Magnum was safe, but not Millenium. TTD is a bit too fast, so hoping to get some shots from Millenium if they have relaxed some.

I wouldn't risk Millennium. They have a Windseeker at Cedar Point which is, incidentally, also 300 feet high so you can get the same height without risking security on what was rated the second best steel coaster in the world.

Yeah - but getting a pic staring right down that giant hill from the front train would be nice to have. Back in the "disposables" days I had gotten a picture from every hilltop, except Mantis. I'll see what I can come up with next week. Power Tower is a good one for landscape shots there as well, if you're a no-handser.
