While not from HasTak, it's an officially licensed release.

Kingdom Rodimus Prime and SS86 Hot Rod being in most of everyone's list is really a testament to both toys!

Now I'm just waiting and hoping to see when Takara will get off their behinds and redeco Kingdom Rodimus Prime as Golden Primus. High on transformers wish list.

If I can add my favorites

Generation selects galvatron was my pick of 2021. Just ticks all the boxes for me. Imposing, great presence on my shelf.

For me honorable mentions go to Kingdom cyclonus and rather controversially generations selects deep cover. I know he's not a unique figure but I love the colors and how solid he is. No one else will give him a look in but he's in my top 10.

The two biggest downfalls against it are that it needs a stand in robot mode because it's a pure shellformer and it's being scalped like there's no god on this earth. But I was talking about the one that's an easier CELL for most people. I hope we get the unnoficial list sometime soon.

Edit: those who cannot afford an expensive release, are destined to despise that release. Looking at you, victory saber.

It was a great year for Transformers figures. Haslab Unicron does deserve the top spot. I don't have him, and that's probably for the best, but there's no denying that he's a truly impressive piece.

However, for my personal favorite among the figures I did get, it's GS Galvatron. It's a tough choice because there are others that are really, really good. But I love that mold and the toy deco resembling my beloved G1 Galvatron figure from childhood elevates it to the top spot.

You cant scalp something that was made for order. Scalping implies you missed out because somebody else bought it and is selling it over priced. This is collectors value price and its only going to go up.

Well... For $600 I'd prefer that this HasLab Unicron was six inches taller (not just because of the horns either), with the same quality and articulation and came with the same colors as the TRU exclusive Unicron was and not that yellow and powdered blue crap that turned off a lot of backers of it...

I haven't used a credit card on a Transformer since I owned a TRU credit card. But if that description of Unicron would've happen it would've been worth it.

Anyway the Pick of 2021 was close for me. But I'm giving it to SLAG! I didn't get Blaster until this year so he's the runner up for 2022 unless Sludge, Blitzwing or a surprise figure has a word.

It's the biggest and most expensive so it must be the best!

We already had a thread in Toyark. I was a little surprised the only one on my list that showed up here (barely) was SS86 Jazz. Maybe there's some bad blood over the Kingdom coneheads or everybody's tired of the Siege Sideswipe mold? Nice to see somebody else picked up on Buzzworthy Cybertron Bumblebee though. Didn't make my favorites this year but a great callback to the opening of MTMTE!

Kinda sad that KI Rodimus Prime was not no.1 on any of the lists , only runner up.

Only he could nudge himself out of the competition lol.

Oh well, my lord Galvatron and Cyc made it at least.

Had Skids not dropped this year, I would have had Rodimus Prime in the top spot by a country mile.

We don't do a top KO of the year, but there is a top 3P list coming soon.

No question, it’s Unicron and I haven’t even transformed him lol.

Now, besides Unicron, Studio Series Sharkticons are such a blast to play with that they’re my runner up.

Still, it would be nice if I could actually afford some of the haslab stuff. Some of it's not just collector targeted, like star saber. That's my personal stab in the gut in terms of toys I don't have.

If Kibble-Me-Unicron wasn't so damn kibbletastic and could actually stand on it's own I would've bought it. Kingdom Cyclonus is my number 1 pick of official toys this year because to me it was the only figure hasbro put out that was actually worth its pricepoint. No kibble, no glaring hollow parts, an actual integrative transformation, posability is top notch, and it's actually voyager SIZED. Hot rod is a deluxe priced as a voyager. The Masterpieces have become too expensive for what they offer in my taste. (looking at that starscream with NO waist swivel for 250$). this year was honestly just a little less disappointing than the past 6 years since it actually had a figure worth its price.

My vote goes to Kingdom Beast Megatron. Looks great in both modes and is a lot of fun to play with. The dino-skin feel was a fun choice.

Runners up are the SS86 Dinobots.

As much as I spent on Unicron, I don't regret it one damn bit.

I’m shocked no one picked Robosen Optimus Prime yet.

For my humble expenses, my favorite release of last year might have to be Voyager Dinobot. If for nothing else but because of how well the robot mode's head sculpt nails the character.

Also, possibly an odd pick from me, but I found the Fossilizers to be a surprisingly fun release of 2021.

Loads and loads of amazing figures this year, so hard to choose! When it comes down to it though, my vote goes to the 86 Dinobots (nope, I refuse to pick one over the other:p ).
Too expensive amongst a sea of equally awesome figures at much cheaper price points is my take on Rodimus...
