2016 may have been a depressing and/or bad year, but let's be positive by talking about something we all enjoy, and that is food! Recipes and new food items are welcome. As for me, i have been binging on the Spicy McChicken sandwich. (They brought it back, only a dollar too!) It is better that the OG sandwich.
I got a question. An embarrassing one at that. for you food experts: how do you know how to pick fresh lobster which has the huge tomalley ratio? Edit: just got off the phone. My mom explained that the gut area needs to look bloated like those ducks bred for foie gras. I'm still learning.
Anybody got a good recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce? Noob cook here, but am getting a little good at taking store bought hamburger meat, sauce and noodles and making some killer spaghetti out of it. I want to make a sauce that's thick and hearty, with onions and mushrooms. I love pasta dishes, may even try to make my own lasagna one day. Favorite snack is canned boiled peanuts, love those things. Also, if you haven't tried Rambutan, I highly recommend it!
