Well, I'm considering ordering them from Sidecutter at capturedprey.com. Have talked with him about this and he seems to be very willing to help with any QC issues that arise, which basically removed any worries that I had about ordering them. I just feel that for the price paid, I shouldn't even have to worry about X bot having X issue, and the next bot having separate issues, and the next one....

Honestly, other than the HL issue, I haven't had any problems with mine...but I've also avoided handling it much after hearing of others' issues with connector points and various other joints. But at the very least, I'd take apart HL and make sure his leg gears are properly lubed. You might also want to consider seeing if he'll recognize NB's black blade as a QC issue and get that fixed for you, too. ;)

$440 plus $60 shipping is $500. I ordered mine from etoysjapan for $497 shipped. etoysjapan - Other
I had no problems with mine so I can't comment on etoysjapan's service but I think that an online retailer who has a reputation to protect is better than some guy on ebay named "default, default, Hong Kong".

I would recommend that you consider Captured Prey as well. They have the whole set for $515 plus shipping (which I've heard is quite reasonable). Hercules Complete Set of Six
Captured Prey seems to have an outstanding service record here on TFW. Paying an extra $30/$40 to buy it from Captured Prey would be a wise investment IMO. If I could go back in time I probably would've gone with Captured Prey.

    Just sayin'. :)

    No you can't.

It's hard to tell, but the shoulder pegs are slightly larger than the ones for the legs.

There were a few reported cases of damage, when people were playing around, sticking their Structors/Madblenders on the shoulder connectors.

You can also tell because it's much easier to stick Neckbreaker and Exgraver on the knee pegs than on the shoulder pegs.

I'm curious about that. Is that accidental, I wonder? I can't think of any reason that TFC would deliberately make the plugs just slightly different sizes....

It may be a case of arms are supposed to be just arms, and legs are supposed to be legs.

Oh... Okay.. I misread it as "I love how this scales with Herc"... Instead of THS (THS-02 Prime) :lol

Oh alright... I DID want to wait untill I had the Rage Face to post this, but since you're so desperate, here you go.

Before you ask, the drill is from the Gurren Lagann Composite Ver. Ka toy, and it clips on to the hand with no modding.

Screw just using the minicon, I'm gonna experiment attaching Sledge like a Targetmaster for Devastator, much like the Seacons.

Heck, maybe there is a way to attach Sledge to Dr. Cranks crane arm to make the "Sledgehammer"....

*Stuff to do when I get home. :)

the drill that comes with this one is pretty sweet too, and the figure is much cheaper than the one you used DOOM...

the figure is 5-6" tall, so i'd say the drill piece is around 3"?
