It's been a long patient wait but I finally made it out to Hong Kong to pick up my Hercules set from robotkingdom.com. I was up until 1:30am last night just unboxing and combining Hercules straight out of the box and it truly is the definitive Devastator to date:

^ the originator would know his work. Above is Wu since I'm in Hong Kong at the moment and couldn't wait to get a RAGE Hercules displayed. I ordered GIEDDIE's for my 2nd Hercules set shipped to my Canadian address.

 

That's why I asked since I thought I had seen your handle listed on the Rage Face thread.

 

This is the main reason I waited and got the set in one go. Building him from the ground up was awesome

That chest piece is certainly way better and it helps with the proportions.

Can someone take a pic of any of the rage faces out there with Devastator holding his foot up for giggles?

So, just looking on eBay, is this seller just listing out of his ass or are the april preorder Herc bots revised editions?

The April release are the "Fixed" versions.. The seller has stated that in his auction. The latter releases of Exgraver already included the fixed scoop. This will be the same for HL.

 

so i was looking at these adapters...they are gonna add so much range of motion for Hercs arms its crazy...

there HAS to be female connectors where i referenced with arrows (duh) to plug onto Dr.Crank...and those adapters being like the ones on Structor, MB, NB and EX will have 90 degrees of movement...as will the male peg on top of the adapters...that, coupled with the the 90 degrees on Ex and NB will offer so much posability for the arms...

 

Thats cool knowing mine will be fixed out of the box.I'm waiting on the april preorder too.Thats a damn good price,cheapest i've seen it.I woulda got that if i hadn't already put in my order for them. So,should i still go get the R/C car grease?

Yes! As mentioned above, TFC's 'fix' was bullshit.

 

on the sides, yes...but on the tops, it looks more meshy textured if you zoom it...

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about. If they were only going to include already fixed shovels and HL hips that still have the possibility of stripping, or if they were going to do anything about Madblenders knee/head that people have been having trouble with and such. If it was going to include vastly improved QC, I'd be all over it.

 

Regardless of what they say, I'd open it up and verify it myself. Had I just trusted their replacement hips, I'm pretty sure I'd have two sets of stripped gears now.

 

I keep reading so many people having issues with their Herc bots so far I have not had any issues with my HL hips or the EX shovel. The only issues I would ask about but easily remedied myself was on both NB and EX their legs at the ball joints seem to get a little loose after some "playtime" but how I fixed it was added a little piece of paper towel in the ball cup and it fixed the problem right away. I also added a small rubber band to MB knee join and it added some needed stiffness to it which I was grateful for whoever put up that youtube fixer video. I don't have all 6 bots yet so I can't verify if he has any issues standing on his own after being combined but again my HL waist and legs are very tight and the ratchets still click and hold their position nicely so I don't think I have any problems yet but here's hoping for the best. My Dr. Crank arrives tomorrow and I will be getting my Structor next week.
