You could also ask why is his red gun black. He customized it many pages back.

 

Wait...we have a pic of at least 5 of the bots assembled currently on robotkingdom.com to advertise Heavy Labor (minus the left arm). That blows your theory up right there.

 

only 4 shown last I checked, but I'm not worried, they will release all 6.

 

i figured the gun was repainted, but the hands looked like too close of a match (which shows just how good of a custom it is lol)

sorry, its just the right leg used twice. unfortunately, they havent done the big reveal for those two =/

lol yes, I stripped the hands, painted the purple panel that shows in vehicle mode green, sprayed the red gun black, painted the peg above the cockpit into a hazard light, painted the base of the digger arm green, and have now filled the cavities in the thumbs and painted them green. Still waiting on purple paint to do the tracks.

There was limited lighting due to where things were plugged in. I actually had to unplug my computer to get the lamp to face them, so the quality could be better... Might take a new one to replace this one in a bit, when I start working on my comic.

& Colossus is 10.5" to his head, about 12.5" to the top of the cannons. Unicron is 14" to the top of his head, 15.5 to the top of his shoulder horns/ highest point.

 

Holy cow... with Hercules being about the same size as Unicron, he is going to make the energon combiners look just plain silly! AWESOME...  

 

Dread Wing, im digging that gun. Was it brushed with flat black?

 

I stuffed blu tack carefully into every cavity and around the 5mm peg, and sprayed it with Games Workshop Chaos Black undercoat.

When it was dry I pulled the bits of blu tack out, touched it up a little around the barrel, and there you go. I think I will do it with all the red guns, so Hercules will have one purple rifle and one black and red magma cannon of doom! lol. I got the idea from painting my girlfriend's Animated Snarl's cheeto-club with black.

 

So I just got my figure today and I am very pleased. However, the middle piston on the crane was positioned wrong. The green barrel where the grey piston slides in and out of was flipped so it didn't align properly and didn't plug into the small holes, so I had to unscrew some stuff and switch them around. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, is the base of the crane supposed to pivot and move? It looks like there are green plastic molded screws in there, which indicated that it should be able to move, allowing the pistons near the base of the crane to function as well? Seems like there should be 3 pivoting spots on the crane rather than just the 2 at the shove and middle?

 

I've heard that joint can be pretty tight. Might need to loosen some screws there, or gently work the joint free a bit.

 

So the base pistons should be able to move as well? I only see plastic green looking screws there...

Kinda scared to try and work it loose, don't feel like breaking a $100 figure lol.

 

It most definitely should move, or else people wouldn't be able to get the shovel tucked into the shoulder as they have.
