there ought to be a tribute for him at Botcon
i was thinkin that the other night
itd be really cool if we could do something like that this year
I´m a believing man, and hope to God he´ll keep a place for him in Heaven, ´cause he could choose make I site for promote his wonderful work and instead chose to be a promoter of the creativity of all the Fandom.
He will be sorely missed.
´Til all are one.
I'm shocked. It's so sad to see such a master of his artistic caliber and skill go at such a young age. Even though I didn't have a chance to get to know him more, my sincerest condolescences still go out to him and his family.
May you RIP TFmaster. You've definitely left a legacy for all of us to remember and to continue to enjoy and cherish.
That was my first thought when I heard the news.
Perhaps Fun Pub can do something (possibly before a showing of the movie?).
Yeah, that would be great.
What do you think will happen to his stuff? Yknow, auctioning that off would bring in even more funds to help his wife and son.
Though, I can't speak for her, she might want them around as a reminder.
this is an incredibly horrid tragedy. I hope that his wife and child will be ok, my best regaurds to them.
Thanks to Don's idea, please come sign up and show your support for a Botcon tribute to Bill (TFMaster)
Wow. That's so sad. And he was younger than me.
I didn't meet him, but looking at his pics, I remember sitting/standing next to him (and his wife and kid) during some of the panels and lines on previous Botcons ... the last one in particular. He seemed like a very fun guy, and very energetic.
Sad to think that BC06 was his last ... but the saddest part is the son he leaves behind ... the son he won't see grow ... the son who'll need his dad every day from now on. Too sad. I can't imagine loosing my dad or my mom ... and I'm 32 years old.
I was familiar with some of his work; TFMaster was a very familiar name, because of all the art he shared with the community.
I have raised this (and linked to the thread about it here) on the TFCC forums. Hopefully the Council will listen and do something.
Wow, can't believe it.
He was an artist with his work man. My condolences to his friends and family.
Our fandom lost someone special.
The world has lost a true talent. My thoughts go out to his family.
Im gonna miss TFMaster, even though i lost contact with him the last year thanks to work (as well with pretty much all my online friends), it was a great friend, always helpful and full of joy
Bill's family and his loved ones have my sincere condolences
He shall be missed
My deepest condolences to his family. I can't say I knew him any more than his custom work I've seen, but it's no less a tragedy.
that was a really nice video, Don East... you should've put pictures of his MP Menasor and his Scratchbuild War Within Megatron in there though!
Too young and too sudden.
Rest in peace.
Man. I read this on Sunday and really didn't know what to write. I didn't know TFMaster but I have always admired his work and loved visiting his site to see the latest work he and others did. It's truly a tragedy that he died so young. If any good of a horrible event like this, I hope it is that we all take a look at ourselves and keep ourselves in the best of health - it's too easy to think that nothing can happen to you if you're young.
Rest in peace TFMaster.
