I have never transformed Springer simply because I heard it was a huge pain in the ass.

That's really a problem of him being on a voyager budget vs the leader budget they've been doing for other triple changers since Siege. I think to get a better G1 Springer that has to look a certain way in each of his modes you're going to need him released at leader prices to get that higher budget.

It's a finicky transformation but if I'm able to do it without having to rewatch a video after 6 months of not transforming it, it's not "that" bad.

The hardest part is the chest/head section that you have to get just right as it's a very unusual engineering, but the rest is just a bit like Spinister, just have to get the parts moved in the right order and position. It's not a quick transformation, that I can vouch for, but I enjoy the figure quite a bit, even picked up the Wrecker version.

He actually proves that you can do a complex and well executed triple changer at voyager price, and he has two swords and two guns... and Hasbro didn't declare bankruptcy over him, imagine that. Comparing it to the other triple changers that are Voyagers (Apeface and Snapdragon), he easily outdoes them for the engineering, and compared to Leader class such as Astrotrain, if anything, I'd say that he's better designed overall, with less gaps, odd kibble, etc. and a more involved transformation.

Holy crap!! I think Inferno might be the winner for my favorite Predacon. Such maniacal glory deserves high praise when it comes to Transformer art like this.

His blaster cannon is an excellent accessory. He can pose like wildfire with it. And he looks like he enjoys it a little too much.

Normally, I have a thing about more than one Transformers character sharing the same name. It’s just one of my collector’s quirks. But the tag of Inferno just may be the exception. G1 Inferno was and is a beloved childhood toy and character for me, so his name definitely ain’t changing. Legacy/Beast Wars Inferno is too fitting of a name for this feisty fire ant though. Because some bots just want to watch the world burn.

I know Inferno is technically a Predacon. But if he were a Decepticon, he’d be a contender for best alt mode because this is freakishly adorable. Who would ever think this could be a frenzied fire fanatic? “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” has lulled a generation into a false sense of security.

I love that he maintains his gimmick from the original. I also love that he can actually stand and balance properly doing this, unlike the original. Btw, does this remind anyone else of Death Blossom? Ever see “The Last Starfighter”?

Hot damn, Legacy just keeps turning up the heat!! Inferno is a marvelous figure. From his epic headsculpt with his ridiculously raving mad jawline, to his simply genius design, to his gastric gimmickry, to his stunning colors, to his fiery demeanor, Inferno is amongst the top tier of this Legacy line. Pure Predacon poetry in motion!

A little preview/Easter egg with my ROTB roster line up. I am using Velocitron Scourge as a stand in for ROTB Scourge.

ROTB Terrorcons have Predacon fossilizers on their side since Autobots got Maximals.

What’s so scary about Terrorcons if they don’t got a few bones to pick with you?

Has anyone had any issues with their Eject's clear plastic breaking? I've been messing with mine pretty consistently for this past year, with some minor stress marks on the knees but nothing major.
