I was in a Target last night and saw these two packs in person for the first time. I have to eventually get these. But not because they are cool. The paint apps on these are utterly weird and rediculous. Bumblebee shocked me with a lemon yellow paint job, but then I seen Barricade. If I remember right, he has some kind of weird CMYK pattern on him. These packs are pretty much the most off the wall paint jobs for movie toys we have seen. It's almost like they tried injecting some G2 spirit into the movie line. And that is why I really want these as weird as they are. Anyone else have a take on these?

 

I couldn't get past the sheer ugliness of Bumblebee...the brown acid did bad things, man...bad things.
It will likely be mine.
Must have missed Barricade.

I'll probably snag them up. I spent most of the afternoon yesterday checking my 4 local Targets for them and HA Jazz. They all said the street date for the end cap is Aug 1 (Sun)

The targets around here don't even have the first wave of hftd or generations figures yet. I'm guessing I might see these by September.

Those were the only ones I didn't see today at my Target and they pretty much had everything out it seemed. I kind of like that lemon color Bumblebee but until I see it in person. I defiantly want Arcee because I love the paint job on her.

 

I don't know. Barricade I want because his paint job is quite out there, but I don't want "Allspark Power" Sideswipe. And white Thrust has a nice color scheme, but I don't want another freaking BB.

Maybe if they go on clearance...

 

Yeah, I think Arcee and the twins are the best representation so far. The "rustic" old look on the twins puts the TRU versions to shame.

 

Anyone who does not like that two pack Barricade has no soul.

 

First I've seen of some of these. When as was at a Target on Wednesday, that only had one Tuner Mudflap and a couple other old stuff.

I want that Barricade pack, but I also just want that Thrust. :/ Eh, I could use another Bumblebee canon arm for something.

 

I think that 'Bee is the only mold I don't have...and that's just a retool of the head. That and the new Battle Ops Bee.

 

Not interested. I want a couple sets that are apparently exclusive to other stores (Rampage, possibly the Screamer one).

 

Interesting. Kinda reminds me of the Jurassic Park: Chaos Effect toyline with all the trippy colors   I might pick up both.

 

I'll wait until they're on clearance for $4.98 and then I'll probably get them only because I'm a sucker for a good deal.The only one I have any real interest in is the Sideswipe.

 

My take is that they all look like dog shit, but I can understand why someone would want them because they're so weird looking. I'll buy some if they get down to Bobby's price of $5, which i probably inevitable with these things.

 

Am I the only one who doesn't like Barricade? I think for a character as menacing and mean as him, it's almost wierd seeing him in highlighter yellow.

 

My wife has a weird thing with clothes, where she'll occasionally say something like "It's so ugly...I have to have it." I kinda feel this way about Bumblebee and Barricade.
