I decided to start this thread for those of you who, like myself, would support seeing the Arcee design in Transformers 2. By now, we all now about the USA Today poll for chosing your favourite character among a list of ten. But because Arcee is not among the options listed (what that means, I don't know), and already has a design in the new movie style as well as a great deluxe figure in the toyline, I thought somebody should start a thread where people could voice their support for this design, since there is no way of doing so in the USA Today poll. If you read fans' reaction to the art shown at Botcon or the fan feedback of the figure, a majority of the fans have voiced their opinion and they've said they like the design, and want to see it return. And now that the movie bigwigs are probably watching the fan-banter around the web after the USA Today poll, now is the best chance to let them know how many fans would love to see Arcee in Transformers 2. Similar threads are popping up on other fan sites as well, including a poll on the movie site.

To this effect, I've made 25 sigs for anyone who wants to wear them in support of Arcee (or you could make your own, or even PM me for a request. I tried to be funny with them, and even asked other board members for ideas). Post your thoughts here, since there is no option for Arcee in the USA Today poll, this thread can act as a substitute. I only ask that you host the sigs yourself, or my photobucket account will crash. I also recommend linking to this thread in your sig, so people can know where to post their support for the design.

So post here, and let people know if you want Arcee to be a part of the Transformers 2 lineup!

Uhh... the sigs are stupid, but I deffinatly support her for the movie. As long as they don't turn her into Cybertron Thunderblast.

 

I am in support of Arcee but I cant help but think of what would happen. We already had problems with parents bitching in how they're making toys for a PG-13 movie. Next thing we have feminists saying Arcee depicts females completely wrong or that they need more fembots etc. And most importantly annoying fan boys. Plus, can they get it right? Will she be the loving and nuturing character or some bitch with a bad attitude who's all into herself and talks alot? Or what if she was voiced by a minority oh god. I'm fine with her being a super bike, I like it. My question is can they do her character right? And no no no to some love triangle between her, Mikeala and Sam with her being the mediator and all.

 

Transform at 90mph, I like to see it. It has to be a great scene.

I personally would like to save her for the 3rd movie but if she was in the second I wouldn't complain.

I didn't want her in the first TF movie, and I don't want her in the second - or third for that matter.

 

Arcee was awesome, unless Daniel was around.

I don't mind her bot mode much, but I hate how they made her head.

I support Arcee for TFTM2.

 

I dont really have any problem with Arcee or the possibility that she could be in TF2 (or 3). The only problem I have, and it's the same reason I didnt want her in the first movie, is there are alot more characters that I'd like to see in the movie before Arcee and, like the 1st movie, if the characters are limited in number then I'd prefer they focus on the earlier G1 characters.

Basicly if it means putting, let's say, Wheeljack in instead of Arcee, I'm going to vote for Wheeljack well before Arcee. If it means putting Arcee in instead of, lets say, Wheelie, now thats another case entirely, Arcee wins hands down.

I really like to see her, since all other Transformers are sounding and looking male.

As it goes for the designs, the V05 looks mostly good, but as it goes for her Feet, the v01 lookes much more solid than the V03/05 ones, and doesn't have these loose-looking ankles.
Making her look fragile this way, the V05 ankles are looking, is a nice idea, but since the V01 were looking tougher and more elegant, they should bne final, tough her full size seems not that much bigger than a human.

She could become a friend for Mikaela like Bumblebee is for Sam.(just an idea)

I think I want her for the next for the movie less for the fact she's a girl and more for the fact that she looks so cool!
