I tend to find it irritating when I know it's possible to write a good TF story. I mean, look at some of the comics and TV series'.

They spent hundreds of millions on the TF movie franchise and the best they can do is a story arc involving a frozen Megatron being responsible for several very long term and contradictory evil schemes, while serving two (at least) completely different masters who apparently never knew about each other.


I'm still convinced that the real reason they got rid of movie Bumblebee's voice was because it was easier than having to write dialogue for the main human 'hero's' Cybertronian buddy. A bit of a letdown after the wisecracking 'Bee from Animated.

Half the time, it seemed that they were simply cutting and pasting dialogue from other movies. They actually ripped the conversation between Megatron and the Fallen during ROTF straight out of Star Wars!



I suppose that after the first three movies TF4 isn't quite at the top of my Most Anticipated Movie list. But King Grimlock and Lockdown may persuade me to change my mind.

 

It's not ruled out that they'll add color before release, but he does have color already . . . if you look closely, when he busts through that gate (Grimlock), on his neck is a gold, and a red color hidden in between gray plates of armor . . .

And on the preceding shot, where Optimus does the "charging move" with his sword of justice, you can notice some green overtones on the gray pieces on him (on Grimlock).

 

To be honest, I think they missed a trick not calling the dual headed dragon thingy Doublecross. Since, y'know... Doublecross IS a dual headed dragon thingy.

 

hope we get some leader cons out this, especialy since we didnt get any with DOTM

 

Galvatron Cannon mode?

Am I the only one that noticed that there was a Bot walking towards the protagonists and transformed into a cannon and shoot Opitimus? Galvatron?

 

Is that the one where his head turns into a big cannon? That's at least different. If they make him into a good toy, I'll certainly be in the market.
