Aside from a few Earthspark figures, stores near me are empty. I don't think I've seen fully stocked shelves since Titans Return.

haunted by old unsold siege aimless figures with a slight case of authentics and bw reissues. Really sad back in 2019 all the way through 2021 we had shelves stocked with mainline generations, studio series, cyberverse, Generations selects even some exclusives like refraktor 3 pack and pounce and wingspan. 2022 basically killed toy hunting for me.

My local Target had Tarn and Leo Prime, Hot Shot, Scraphook, and BB95 NEST Bonecrusher today. Other than that, the shelf was crammed with huge piles of Earthspark toys, which now seem to be 60-75% of their Transformers stock. I'm not checking every day but they don't seem to be moving many (any), just receiving more without any going away.

My local Walmart actually got MORE stock of Legacy Wave 1. Prime Arcee, Skids, Kickback, and Dragstrip. They are also still restocking Speedia Wave 1 Deluxes, but someone else beat me to the Cosmos this time. That's what I get for being lazy. Jhiaxus and Galvatron also still being restocked from somewhere. SS86 Sludge showed up along with more Coronation Starscreams. Boy, they really really overestimated the popularity of that set. Is this the 2nd or 3rd wave to include it?

So I went to the closest TRU near me only to realize it’s now closed, must be recent I had no idea. So I went to the Walmart just next to it and was treated with this wonderful selection.

On my way out, I stopped by Gamestop who only had a few Legacy wave 1 and Kingdom leftover and one DK-3. What a great day.

Yeah…kinda ironic, the shelves are empty but the only TF that had multiple copy (3 actually, there is another in the back) is the one that a lot of americans can’t find right now

Both of my local Walmarts have straight-up skipped stocking Wave 3 of Legacy and are now jumping ship to Wave 1 of Legacy: Evolution. The beast wave clogged their shelves for straight months, as did Wave 1 of Velocitron's non-chase figures. I've only seen 2 shipments of Legacy Wave 2 across both stores, 1 shipment of Velocitron Wave 2 across both stores, and no wave 3 of Legacy whatsoever. I wanna be sad, but frankly, Walmart's always been absolute trash at stocking current figures.

Yes, has yet to make an appearance in physical stores other than 1 sighting. I just got one off of Ebay for too much, $130 USD from a Canadian seller.

I have no interest for this figure myself, but I was tempted to buy one for selling, I was just unsure if it’s really worth it.

I honestly don't believe it was overproduced. Hasbro and stores have this game they like to play where they fill about 100 stores nationwide to the brim but the other 4900 don't get anything at all. I recently started a poll about Target because it's absurd how few TFs the half dozen local Targets will stock in any given year. I did two toy shows last year and my guess is I sold more TFs in two weekends than any of them did over the entire year.

Do your local Targets ever carry TFs in-store?

I believe it. Towards the end of TR, I saw around 16 Slugslingers in the Walmart in Manchester, NH, but none anywhere else, ever.

As for my local selection, Walmart has a decent selection of RotB stuff. The Voyager Rhinox (and OP when he was in stock) are in the back with the Generations stuff and plushies no one will ever buy, instead of on the endcap with the gimmick RotB stuff few will ever buy. They got Legacy Wave 3 Deluxes in recently, and still have some wave 1; they're sold out of both Stunticons. They still have a bunch of Jiaxi while most others have moved on to Armada Starscream. Reissue Starscream, Junkheap, and some Legacy Leaders fill out the rest of the shelf space.

Both Walgreens got in Red Alert right around the time Minerva was released. Gamestop has SS Gamer Bee and Barricade. And, that's it.

On the 9th my Walmart was fully stocked. Some Year 1 Legacy figures, a Scrapheap in tattered packaging. An Arcee, Buzzsaw here or there. Most of the ROTB line, Earthspark. Though I do have two Walmarts and a single Target where I live.
