The plot is she is going to be setting up a new JSA. Also wouldn't be surprised if a few old members aren't actually dead and show up later in another season.
Yeah, but I think they want to focus on her as a high school teenager here, so I'm not going to look for that here. Still, anytime they want to add 80's Fire and Ice into one of these series, then I want knockouts.
I only know Stargirl from Johns' JSA Omni vol 2 and 3. Show seems ok. I just hope they didn't blow their budget on the 1st ep.
And they didn't show Flash or GL dead. In fact the ones that got (probably) killed were the ones that have Infinity Inc versions.
True, all we saw of the flash was his helmet. Which has me curious if they might get John Wesley Shipp to reprise his role as Jay Garrick since this show is technically Arrowverse, or if they'll go with a new actor
And anyone they haven't cast yet their face is blurred out. You can't really see anything about Flash or Johnny Thunder other than they're white and have the right hair colour.
I was thinking of Kent Nelson's wife, Inza Cramer-Nelson, like her husband was killed or put in a coma, so she takes up the mantle. They showed Jay Garrick's helmet, but they could say he's trapped in the speedforce and I thought the green fire in the opening was from Alan Scott fighting the Shade, who could have been the one who killed Dr. Mid-Nite. That's true unless they give Wildcat his 9 lives.
I don't know about this show. Starman was able to fight the brain control dude and gets killed by a fucking icicle which his staff should have blocked since it's sentient. Brain dude lives in same town as Stripey but doesn't feel his precense or staff living in same town and sees Courtney's face already? Even if she puts on a simple eye cover, she thinks he's not gonna just blab to every bad guy? Glowing staff like a flashlight makes a crappy stealth mode too. The way she flips like she has some superpowers, a normal young girl can't flip that high.
I say so with that thought. Being a gymnast helps but her father passed her some abilities and the staff helps. I did think when she first started to do the flips around it and the staff went vertical they were going to have her do stripper pole moves.
I didn't know the DCU or whatever it's called version is longer than the CW aired one. Ep 2 is 51min. I'm assuming the CW will again be like 42.5min.
