I know I saw the TOS Enterprise on clearance in the past as well. Not in large numbers, though. I don’t think I’ve seen more than a couple of the TNG Enterprise on the shelf at any given time either.

As per Riker in Picard Season 3: “Have you heard that Jean Luc? No one wants the Fat One (Enterprise D).” :p

Until the D and the Neo-Con Titan saves the day, then most on everyone wants a copy of the D afterwards.

TOS Enterpise is what they always make it and they never seem to sell much with the public. TNG stuff actually moves at retail because they hardly made it.

My thought? We need more Refit/Ent-A. Why? Because 80's toys etc sells----G1, He-Man, Thundercats, etc----that's the big main retro toy market these days, this forum is clear evidence of that. And anyone who saw Trek movies as a kid in the 80's----saw the Refit/Ent-A up on the big screen, not the original TOS.

The toy market has changed in the last 10 years, once these kids get pass age 8 many don't won't the toys anymore. The toy market has shifted to 40+ year olds bc they/we grew up in the best era of cartoons that became toys (vice versa). Transformers and Voltron are in there 40th anniversary, who is buying them the 40th year olds that watched them as kids. Og Turtles, He-man, GIJoe, the real Ghost Busters, I'm shocked we haven't gotten the OG Thundercats, MASk and, Bionic Six. Neca/S7 Turtles and Thundercats ain't $50 to be sold to 10 year olds.

I heard 4 months ago that Master Replicas only had a few months till they can't sell Eaglemoss ships anymore but I thought it was gonna be around February (of course that didn't happen). It's seems that they have a Star trek contract to do there own ships. Hopefully they do small and large but have the large light up especially parts of the windows, I'd pay extra for that.

This is why I'm surprised they keep going back to the ToS era instead of the TNG era in general. We're at prime TNG Millennial nostalgia for TNG and DS9, do something with it!

the latest email I got from them said June was the termination of their contract...

not sure what that means for any unsold stock...they sorta were the boy who cried wolf with all their "may not restock ever again" blasts, then said product continued to show up...

by this point people probably have what they wanted and anything they still want (e.g. Enterprise F) isn't coming back at this point...

separating the magazines to sell separately seemed sketchy as well...

Aside from picard, these don't look half bad.

amusing...the fact that they have licenses for pretty much all the major franchises (Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Disney, MOTU, etc etc) would have been a huge selling point for me if this was done years earlier as I'm a sucker for crossover product like minimates or mego which cover a bunch of licensees

Weird that they don't list Crusher and Troi as Dr and Counselor, especially with Troi out of uniform. I knew they had an episode with Troi taking an officer's test but had no idea Crusher was a Commander.

The first non-Prime-universe ship in 1:64ish and it's a Racerverse?! At the very least this should have been a 2-pack with either Khan in the Miranda-class or Kruge in the Bird of Prey.

    Crusher took command in Descent.

Agreed. I have long ached for them really using the license in that scale. Easy buys for me.

Any idea on what company would be getting the Toy License? Doubt McFarlane, so that leaves Hasbro, Mattel, Jada, Bandai, Spin Masters, Jakks Pacific, Jazwares

Hot Wheels is Mattel, so they possess one already. Playmates has another for toys. Fanhome acquired still another for a diecast series to replace Eaglemoss' partwork series.

The Wand Company revealed the prototype for their TOS tricorder replica with Adam Savage on Tested. It looks incredible, really a labor of love from fans. For anyone familiar with their phaser and communicator replicas, you'll know how well built this will be.

It's been about five years since they announced the product, but it looks well worth the wait.
