Man I remember being really excited for Dai Guard and having it not be as good as it should have been. Maybe worth a rewatch? It was a long time ago.

Dai Guard has the second best rocket punch ever! Talk about hot blooded, duded pulls out his arm and chucks it at his enemy for the rocket punch win!!!

On a side note, DaiGuard ruined pacific rim for me.

Hey was he worth it? I have been fighting the urge to get this guy because I think Shin Mazinger is the best SRC to date. I already have 3 regular versions, I can't decide if the chrome merits another purchase.

    He's worth the msrp.

However, he is not worth the regular 3000y-4000y+ markup in addition to the msrp that sellers are currently gouging and scalping potential buyers for him.

I have a question about the vintage Godaikin toys: whey do some of them have two different package boxes? One kind is blue-ish (which says Bandai America), and the other kind is gold-ish/poop coloer-ish (which says Bandai Bandai). Any difference in the toys inside?

The toys are identical. The early releases were all the blue solid boxes with the window overlay inside the box. They were pretty much only sold at specialty shops. Once Bandai got into larger stores like KB, Mervyns and Toys R Us they switched to the (apparently cheaper) window boxes.

    ^^

Still waiting on mine. Most likely next week's delivery. :(

At any rate, Kaiser looks darn big and awesome.

The RJ-forum has a pic-comparo with the SKL.

    fyi.

Charles (OptimusPrimeSG) just posted his online-review of SRC-Kaiser:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU4xcsDcYrU

Oh, and are there any rumor(s) (or petitions or whatever) if Bandai's ever gonna do a Gekiganger SOC or SRC?

    or even by other companies?

^^ am hating you right now, mang.

at least for the next two weeks.

oy! the joys of sal shipping sometimes... :banghead:

    ---

Btw, just saw GX-64 at US$201.17 at the river-store. Don't know for how long, but you oughta HURRY if you want it cheaper!

Just be aware of the boxing-shenanigans of their free-shipping, that is.

The sales-tax on mine was about $17, tho, so check your local sales-tax when applicable.
