"Today" hates my wallet a lot

 

Tinge of buyer's remorse upon receiving my GX-25R and GX-26R set in the mail earlier this week, which feels bad. I looooove having figures of bad guys like in Mazinger, and we get so few of them anywhere near this quality (it’s basically what, that Grendizer line and nothing else?) but their age really shows in 2023. I used to own the original Doublas M2 and aside from adjusting to the new colors I thought I’d love owning the mold again, playing with the neck options I started to feel that way but everything else left me wanting more, and that sucked! First time with Garada K7 and it kinda felt worse due to the scythe-boomerang play pattern not being quite as fun as the ton of ball-jointed neck parts, on top of all the other bits of old engineering holding it back too. Really wish these two or even other kikaiju got a bit more respect than they currently do, and not using the anniversary as an excuse to at least give these two a much-needed update is a shame.

 

I had the original when i was young, i am so looking forward to this!! Bring it!!

Are preorders out for Gx-106 ? A real childhood memory

 

I'd never heard of this guy before...had to look it up! And, I don't know if a PO date has been set yet. I did a little searching and didn't turn up much.

 

It's on the promotional picture and on official Bandai Twitter and in the article, 1st of april will be revealed all details and probably POs will start the same day of just like many other announced products, on April 6th

 

its why now i only buy the newiest stuff, most stuff of the past is just outdated even if at the time it was great, also i find that even unopened stuff from before 2000 can easily be in bad shape inside despite having been kept well ive had a few bad occurrences wich such things
now i only buy older stuff if i realy want to exonorate that itch i didnt get to scratch when i was young, and then once im trough with it i give it away 2 kids of my friends or try re-selling it

The pic of Mazinger flying through the air with a pair of titty-missiles has got to be one of the funniest pieces of official action figure photography I have ever seen...lol...

The episode it's based on is one of the more epic ones in the series.

 

God...now it's even funnier! I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Mazinger! Imagine being a little kid back in the day and watching that...lol...

 

I wound up getting the whole series from Diskotek. I should watch it just to see the series uncut. I watched Tranzor Z when it aired in the U.S. I am trying to remember if they aired this episode.
