Wow, wouldn't mind a Denji Tiger for my display but the main figure is about the same size as my GoDaiKin....and I just can't justify the price for a figure that small.

 

I kind of thought the same thing but the Tiger is 13” so it kind of makes up for it. I ordered it pretty excited as I love the gantry idea. Or whatever you call it.

Well got my GX-96 today. Was a little surprised it was not vacuum down to a carboard plate with plastic. Just some liner bags this time. But no barcode on the front of the box either. I did tear the box a little putting stuff back inside after looking at it... Butter fingers.

Got two SoC Getter bois in the mail today (pictured here with SRC Getter 1 and Riobot Mazinger Z)
Really interesting how different they are in design intent and engineering despite being in the same line. Go suffers a bit from the transformation in that there’s some fragility in places and the fact that he’s quite backheavy, but he looks great. Default hands kind of suck, though.

Getter 1 is pretty straightforward. It’s probably a controversial opinion, but I like the SRC Getter 1 better from and engineering and aesthetic standpoint, but the size and build quality is excellent. I should have just coughed up the extra dough and bought him new, though: the way he was packaged made his head come apart in the box and now one of his head spikes is lost to the ages. I’m trying to decide what to do there, but I may be out of luck.
