Gonna hunt a soc gx-13r
It's a damn shame that the Sentinel Blackwing is like, as much as if not twice as expensive as Dancouga himself. I got my Dancouga for about 200, which is a damn good deal, but it also soured me on spending the cash for the matching Blackwing.
Anybody got any idea what the SoC one will run, costwise? Thinking F.A. money, like $160?
found at td earlier.
upcoming gx-93 is, uhmm, another ship...
2020年11月 超合金魂 GX-93 宇宙海賊戰艦 ARCADIA號 - 日系英雄／機械人 - Toysdaily 玩具日報 - Powered by Discuz!
nice, but c'mon!
if yer gonna do a SOC ship, do the SOC SDF-1 TV already, bandai!
Can you imagine the preorder bloodbath for an SDF-1?? Lol. I think the SOC ships look neat...but I haven't gotten any of them.
another one....it will be the 8th ship
40k yen though
Bandai seemed to have recycled GX-86's turret-control gimmick onto GX-93.
It'll be totally worth it, tho. Possibly the only truly worthy item to be po-F5'ing and stuff for any Bandai toy.
I have GX-64 Yamato and I must admit that it is a nice looking paperweight.
I tried to get GX-86 for the turret-control gimmick, but it got inexplicably and infuriatingly region-locked at amz-jp during po-time and stuff.
Holy shit...didn't notice those electronics! WTF? That is just nutty...but cool.
An automatic for me to go with movie Arcadia and Galaxy Express 999
My issue with the SoC ships is their shelf footprint is freakin' massive. They don't look good from the front so you need to display the horizontally, where they're as long as 2-3 other figures. (I can only judge so much though.)
On another note: Anybody have first hand experience with the F.A. Zambot? Realized my shelf is missing it.
Is the going to be any improvement in the articulation if the GX-13R Dancouga reissue?
It's got an R in the release number so they tweaked or changed something. I have not seen what yet.
ew tv colors GROSS
nah i kid, but in all seriousness i feel as if the amount of R&D as well as money it would probably take to produce them, in factory and in the same level of scale as rest of these ships in the SoC line, wouldnt be enough to make a profit if it's only able to be sold in Japan which is probably why they havent shown anything in that scale yet. Bandai did show off a "Kikan Taizen" SDF-1 back in Tamashii Nations 2018 but it was 1/6000 and no way in hell was it gonna manage to outdo the yamato/arcadia and i wouldnt be surprised if bandai felt the same especially since they haven't shown it since.
There will be a Macross related anouncement at Tamashii Features next sunday but I'm pretty sure its DX Chogokin stuff so i wouldn't get my hopes up
If I cannot get a TV Color SDF-1 I am out. If Bandai wants to strike that’s the option.... and on a related note I just shattered the SOC Budget. I guess to be technical the Bandai Chogokin budget.
Currently waiting on
“A Successful Failure”
I’ve rationalized it as a birthday gift for my wife. I cannot wait I have been drooling over these for years....
It's only a matter of time before Bandai or Arcadia pull the trigger and do a TV SDF-1. I too desperately want a modern version of that classic ship.
I love my movie one from Arcadia (hell, I bought twice in a decade) but a big hole in my collection without a TV style one.
See if you can rig up something like this:
This. I legit have my SOC Gunbuster sitting in the BACK of my IDW shelf, just for the sake of a lack of space. Not completely the fault of Gunbuster, but still, c'mon.
Alright, my compatriots... I officially have a background.
Saw this on Show.Z
Besides the fact it is the Z and not the Great, isn't it the King Arts Mazinger?
Got this one yesterday....
Yeah it looks exactly like it with some new panel detailing and stuff which makes it look more Infinity-ish to me. Also, it looks to be lacking the battle damaged versions of the body panels.
