SOC F.A. IDEON UP ON NIPPON YASAN
SOUL OF CHOGOKIN - GX-92 SPACE RUNAWAY IDEON F.A.
Ordered 2 couldn’t help myself.
SOC GX-92 F.A. Ideon is up on Amazon Japan as well:
Volt ... GOLION has took his due place in the detolf
... but this means SOMEONE ELSE has received an immediatly executed eviction notice, and is now planning to end all humanity in retaliation (let's see who gets the reference )
Funny. Beautiful collection LOVE seeing the CMS stuff, some of my favorite pieces. That Marusan GoShogun looks pretty sharp. Love that toy.
Thanks a lot.
Yes, both Goshogun, Boss Palder and Gyayuten Oh are beatyful pieces (the latter is probably my favourite).
...meanwile, bigredrobot has found new friends and a new home, so his project to extinguish humanity as he did in his series has been put to the side for the moment ...
Sankan-Oh is a real gem too if you ever run into him even better than Gyakuten. I love Boss Palder I was really bummed we didn’t get the other 3. I was hoping when Marusan did GoShogun and Gordian we’d get another shot at BlockerIV. CMS was really good when they were good... the Time Bokan bugs are some of my favorite pieces ever. I’ll never get rid of them, ever.
Seeing Boss Palder makes me sad that CMS folded before we could get the rest of the Machine Blockers...especially since the Fewture ones never came to pass either... its like the blockers are cursed...
Wowzers! Does it transform or spilt into the 3 component vehicles?!
If it splits into the 3 vehicles...I might do the same...like i did with the original release! X)
Pretty sure it’s non-transforming.
That’s really lame if true. SOCs have usually transformed if the mecha in question can, no?
They do but this is the Full Action line. Which are the size of the original SOC releases roughly 7” and extremely articulated but non-transforming.
They’re really nice though. Not lame at all.
The Full Action (F.A.) line sacrifices its transformation gimmicks for cartoon accuracy proportions, and articulation.
I thought the F.A. figures were kind of a bummer at first as well...but after getting a combining version of Combattler (GX-03) and experiencing the major limitations in hip articulation, I can see the value in the F.A. versions. The combining version is still fun, but, if you want something you can pose in something other than a basic A-stance, the F.A. is the way to go.
Thanks for the heads up man! But as I’m in the stage of cutting back...I’ll give this a pass.
Aren't the FA SoC's just basically Super Robot Chogokin's in disguise?
I just bought God Mars R as well, and it looks like the shoulders are perfectly fine!
Sphinx's leg broke off out of the box though.....
On that note, the seller won't take the broken set back, so does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could get a replacement part? Would contacting Bandai directly be worth it? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new set?
As for the FA stuff....I get that they're bigger than the SRC's, but the concept is more or less the same right? More cartoon-accurate, more poseability, less features.
Just wondering if anyone can help me out so I bought soul of chogokin Daioja off big bad toy store and I have to admit I love it but it has an issue with one of the combined mode shoulders apparently the ratchet joint is so loose that the arm just flops around does anyone know how to fix it I tried a few things but it doesn’t seem to work and I’d really like to avoid buying another since it’s a bit pricey
I don’t have that figure...so maybe someone else has a known fix for it...but did you try disassembling it? Maybe there’s some plastic flashing or something in there clogging up the works.
