I love modular weapons, and whenever I get a new toy that has them, I get out my box 'o weapons and try coming up with new combinations. Sometimes they work well, other times they fall apart.
Now and then I cheat with a bit of blu-tack or a rubber band, if I want it to hold just for a photo or whatever.
But I've come up with a few I like, and thought it would be cool to discuss them (and yours!) and tell us how you put them together / what weapons you used etc.

Some of the silliest ones I used in this pic:

I was messing about one day with Swindle's chainguns, and found out you can peg three of them together and still clip it on. You can peg four, but then no way to attach it.

Pegged end to end, the onslaught style guns look like a tower thing to me. They can be pegged side to side as well as end to end.

I also used them for this rainy day "Bedroom Base Mode"

Put a bunch of different stuff together for these weird weapons . Obviously the micro machines are not weapons! But the gun on the right is just a modular weapon with a movie toy gun pegged on top of it.

You can also see the Onslaught guns in side to side pegged mode on his back.

My favourite modular weapon that I combined with other weapons is this gauntlet thing (actually a sword) that I put on Bruticus. you can see it on the left side of the pic in his hand.
I'll post a close up later and the bits involved.

One of my favorite combinations is a custom net launcher/camera chase car rig. {"attachment_id":27616357,"attach_date":1473755451,"filename":"Speedtrap Alt 2b.jpg","thumbnailUrl":"data\/attachments\/462\/462450-9f1d491a849b269042a25eb889349b3f.jpg","deleteUrl":"attachments\/speedtrap-alt-2b-jpg.27616357\/delete?temp_hash=b6668e01f920230efadcb9baacbeb97d","viewUrl":"attachments\/speedtrap-alt-2b-jpg.27616357\/?temp_hash=b6668e01f920230efadcb9baacbeb97d","templateHtml":"\n\n
